i can't remember if it came with the pipe coming out of the wall (i'm pretty sure it came with everything else you see) - i purchased for house i was building and my plumber installed for me.

If i buy this one (#t17294=ss=i), i need the shower only valve kit, right? or i can use tub & shower valve kit too?

is this set complete for me to give to plumber or do I need to order a separate valve?

You need to get a valve.  This is what I purchased:  Delta R10000-UNBXHF Multichoice Universal Shower Only Valve Body    We've had this in our new shower for almost a year and we have not had any problems.

is the Linden hose plastic or metal?
