Folding feature is a detriment when packing and getting on/off tree.
Very comfortable once you get locked in. Doesn't climb as great as the API. I bought it for the folding/packing feature--wouldn't do it again. Creates more hassle than convenience.

Prefer my older Summit.
Despite advertising, There is no "nestling" of upper and lower sections for easy packing. There is no easy way to pack this stand effectively or quietly as design allows slipping around of the two units, there IS NO nestling. Also the bolt construction of the moving parts have no locknuts, just regular nuts which begs for worries of potentially backing out. I am not a big guy but feel like the foot platform is a little small. I will however make it work for the limited western use I purchased it for.
