The book and paper are both great quality. The only downside really is that it’s too big to fit in your pocket. It’d be perfect to carry in a bag or rucksack.

Not too impressed by the slightly too tight parcel - looks like the sketchbook was neither as it came looking like someone had bashed it about a bit with some superficial whack marks on the cover and insideEdit: -On further review, the paper wasn't pasted into the covers square and the paper inside feels like very cheap offcuts. When trying to sketch in it, my pencil started catching on the roughness of the paper several timesThis product is cheap, nasty and shoddily put together. Avoid

These are good quality sketch books with more pages than most and at a lower price.

I'm glad I only bought one of these to be honest. I got the A6 and it's a nice little hardback sketchbook and the paper is thick with a light texture on it but it's really only ideal for pencil drawings (or maybe something like crayons). Definitely no good for ink, brush pens, felt tips, fineliners etc or for watercolours; the paper is just too absorbent and everything feathers and bleeds.Sadly I couldn't use the sketchbook the way I intended so I've been using it for rough pencil sketches and notes in ballpoint pen instead. Won't be ordering any more of this brand but I also bought an A5 one by Artway Studio around the same time I got this and that one has thicker, heavier paper with a smoother finish so it takes ink and watercolour really well; they just don't have the A6 size.
