Gatco 4062 Elevate, Towel Ring, Brushed Brass/Wall Mounted 6.13" Wide Towel Ring for Bathroom

Okay so I bought 2 of these towel holders about 2 or 3 months ago and my husband just installed them yesterday due to some updates we were doing in our bathroom.... so the wall mounting bracket is too small for the holder base so when you attempt to tighten the tiny screw that comes with it nothing holds together, the holder just comes off it. So we ended up using a bigger screw that i have to paint gold but it still shows... AND even after that the whole piece still moves... so we know is because of the mounting bracket being too small.... now wr have to go to home depot and buy that too. On the other hand we also noticed that the holder piece is crooked as you will see on the pics so im sad about this because I really like them and also because its too late to exchange them! Hopefully they see this comment

Would’ve been nice if all the mounting hardware were there. My contractor could only hang one out of 3 because other two had no mounting brackets. Missed return window because we didn’t open them till he was ready to put them up at the end of a full bathroom renovation. Not happy. The one that is up is beautiful heavy high qualityUpdate: after using all of my negotiation skills and believe me it required all of my skills, Amazons retail department agreed to send me two replacements. They were originally going to make me pay for the shipping even though it was the manufactures fault for not sending what I needed to mount the rings. The new replacement rings came today and wouldn’t you know one of the rings was great But the other still had no mounting hardware and it was in a bag with a sticker that said inspected by Amazon. I called and they said at this point they can’t send me any more replacements but after I return the product with free return shipping of course they will issue a refund which they weren’t willing to do before. I would have actually rather had a replacement ring that had the Mounting hardware or have them just send me some mounting hardware but after three tries I’ll take the refund and maybe just put up some hooks where I was going to put the third ring.

Nice, heavy hardware. Very attractive and easy to install. I've never bought a Gatco product before, but my immediate reaction on opening the box was that somebody at this company actually cares about their customers. This ring Includes good anchors that expand behind the wall for drywall mounting, not those dinky little plugs that pull out the first time you tug on a towel. The included screws work for the anchors, but are also long enough to work if it needs to be screwed into a stud. And while installation is fairly straightforward, it includes clear instructions including what the little red thing is for in case you didn't already know. It's amazing how such little details can make a huge difference in satisfaction with a product.

Love the look of this but unfortunately, the brass knob that connects to the brass plate is crooked, therefore making the ring sit crooked, too. I tried to loosen the bolt from behind with an Allen key to straighten the knob, but it’s so tight that it simple wouldn’t budge. You can see how crooked it is against my subway tile lines. Had I not already used the anchors to install it, I’d return it for a new one. Such a shame.

The towel ring is solid brass, super good quality and modern. It's not shiny but I wanted the brushed gold so it's exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately it came without the screws and the plate to hang the towel ring so I called the manufacture and she answered immediately, said no problem sending the missing parts out. That's how customer service should be but more often than not, it's not the case. I was very happy I purchased it from them and I will order another one for my other bathroom. Thank you!

Very high quality! As others have noted, this is a very high quality towel ring (much higher quality than the standard "big box" store rings (we used some in other bathrooms). We chose these because the shape matched our mirrors. The base/mount is cast and includes multiple hardware options for mounting. Overall one of the better towel rings we've ever seen. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, it took longer for me to work on my bathroom than I had planned. By the time I went to hang this up, the return window was past. It looks very nice and seems very sturdy. However, when I was deciding where I was going to install it, I noticed that the towel bar is not parallel with the base. Noticeably. It is very sturdy because I tried to bend it and it would not move. Its a shame because I can't find one like it in any of the stores.

Usually with these things, it's always a coin toss whether they're flimsy and basically garbage or good. This is one of the good ones! It's really solid, sits on the wall like it's super-glued to it. The only small downside is that things aren't 100% symmetrical with the way the square towel ring is attached to the wall piece, but it's really minor.I would buy the item again.

I ordered this towel ring, but the square ring was crooked. The top pieces that feed into the hardware that mounts it into the wall didn't line up properly and weren't level. I exchanged it for a replacement twice, and each time it had the same issue. It's too bad because otherwise this would be a great product, but it was too odd looking to use.
