Writing review after using this product for a monthPros:1) Simple design, adequate capacity for up to 4-5 member family. Works well.Silent operation.2) Simple to operate, just turn the timer knob as per desired time and recommendations3) Flexibility of wall mount and floor mount4) Although company sends installation technician to provide demo and install exhaust shoot, it's very easy to do on your own. But technician, puts warranty remarks on warranty card so leave this installation job to company5) Did not burn, shrink any clothes cotton or synthetics6) Long warranty period7) Due to simplified design, I believe repairs if any should be easy and cheap8) Machine stops immediately if door is opened in between cycle9) Thermal cut off is also useful safety featureCons:1) Too simple construction. Could benefit by having humidity sensor based operation control to reduce cycle time and reduce cost of operation2) Mechanical timer based operation and is grossly inaccurate. If I set it to 40 mark, unit almost runs for hour.3) A lot of lint gets accumulated in filter. Actually it is not clothes lint,. It is lint sucked in from surrounding when unit pulls air inside. There is no air filter I believe at air inlet. It gives apparent feeling that clothes had a lot of lintOther comments:1) Electricity bill increased by about Rs.400 over a month for daily use for 1-1.5 hours2) White color is cheaper by Rs.1K3) After every couple of drying cycles lint filter must be cleaned4) Marketing badges on unit are reversible for upside down installation on wall5) Stainless steel drum is of good quality and thickness6) Machine restarts from where left after power cutoff as timer stops functioning on power cut off7) Timer knob MUST be operated in clockwise direction only.Update after using about 3 years:1) I still find it useful product.2) As long as one does not load the machine with too many clothes than it's capacity, the results are consistent3) I still feel that there should be accurate timer upgrade and digital control with humidity sensor that company should add to this product. Also, should use BLDC motor and not universal motor they use now.4) I have already paid amount equivalent to the machine cost in last three years to electricity board. That is cost of convenience one pays in owing any dryer (not just this).5) Almost every cycle lint filter is needed to be cleaned, feels boring at time but if not done, the machine will not give good results as it blocks air flow, so have to do it anyway.6) I feel some thin cotton shirts shrunk in size over a period of time. One has to understand that when used in mixed mode or cotton mode, the machine runs heater almost the entire duration of cycle probably that in long term causes shrinkage.7) Due to overloading of clothes I guess (due to lack of knowledge) drum's spacers were damaged in first year only but later when I started using less load, machine ran flawlessly so far.

The media could not be loaded. Delivered on 22.9.22IFB technician came on 27.9.22. He installed the machine but refused to hang the dryer on the wall.When started using, the latch that closes the door found to be plasticky, flimsy and pops open with in a minute of closure.Contacted Amazon. Was told that an inspection is needed from the brand side to decide on return/ replacement. Inspection was complete on 4.10.22.As there was no response from the Amazon side, contacted gain. Return process initiated after multiple calls.Had specifically informed the customer care representative that the cardboard cover was taken away by the cleaning staff and was assured that the same will not affect the return. Pick up was scheduled today. The person who came for pickup cancelled the pickup stating that the cover was missing.Called customer care again and rearranged pick up for tomorrow (8.10.22). Keeping fingers crossed. Absolutely bad product from IFB and first bad experience from Amazon customer care.8.10.22: Pick up boys asked me to pack the machine, which I refused. Then they reluctantly packed and took the product back. Received refund.

Great product especially keeping in mind the weather, it has been carefully used for past 6 months. Works perfectly and easy to use. Highly recommended as the options are limited at this attractive pricing.

It’s been a Year that we have been using it. It’s definitely a very useful appliance. A clothes dryer is not the normal buy in India. It can’t be because we are blessed with Sunlight and Good weather. So go for a dryer only if you live in cities where drying place is a problem in your home, if you stay at relatively humid coastal places like Mumbai or Chennai, if you just can’t wait for drying clothes normally although you don’t have space constraints…… So it’s An investment that calls for appreciation at your end.Now, IFB is the name associated with clothes washing machine since long. Probably, only IFB makes and markets a separate Clothes dryer in India. A combined washer and dryer is provided by other brands but at high cost and the drying may still be not 100%. So you may consider buying a dryer.All is okay with the machine and the main function is fantastically done.Only issue I have faced is in its installation: IFB doesn’t honour its installation on wall mounting. For that they would charge an extra 3000/- bucks.Those who would look for employing their own resources, please use the supplied Wall Mounting brackets. Drill holes exactly on the template supplied. Use about 1.5 to 2 inches screws (6 nos) and then simply hang the machine by the slots on back body. You May also keep the dryer on a platform on the wall without hanging it.I hope they would have made a simpler wall mounting bracket and arrangement as done by many foreign machines.I hope, like the washing machine, IFB dryer won’t require any servicing for years. Servicing by authorised IFB guys is a serious problem.But for the purpose that I bought it for, it’s just perfect.
