**update 7/16** - this filter lasted 6 months, which is probably as long as the LG filter would have lasted. Shoot...even if the name brand filter would have lasted a year, it is still cheaper to go with these. Still very happy with the quality of water, and with our water consumption levels in this house, I am happy with how long the filter lasted. I have now added this filter to my subscribe & save schedule for every 6 months.This blows the LG filters out of the water.... literally! The flavor is excellent, the installation was just as easy, and the price cannot be beaten. I will be purchasing these in the future for sure!

Much more economical
Fits well. The only issue is that it did not recognize by the refrigerator. Not sure why. But, it resets well.
