I have been using this at work mostly to scan in laptops and deliveries of mobile phones and SIM cards - it's very quick to pickup most barcodes, sometimes you just need to approach the scan from an angle especially if something has a packaging wrap on it ... all in all works well.once configured there was no stopping me ... it's been knocked and bumped a few times also and still works perfectly.in windows and Linux.

The best thing about this scanner is that it is easy to use. You can use the included USB cable to connect to a computer, or you can use the included 2.4GHz USB dongle for a wireless connection. As far as I can tell, this particular model does not support a Bluetooth connection. But with an OTG USB adapter cable, I was still able to use the 2.4Ghz dongle on my phone. Even there, no extra drivers or software was required to start scanning right away.The scanning is not as fast as some other scanners I have, but the speed is reasonable. I do have to get within about six inches of the barcode in order for this scanner to read it. And if there are several barcodes in the same area, it can be tricky to pick out the right one, even with the red laser targeting light that this one has.Switching between direct scan and batch scan modes requires you to scan a configuration barcodes out of the manual, which may be inconvenient. I do like having the option of turning off the sound and/or vibration indicators for scans. This and all other configuration is also done via scanning specific barcodes in the manual.Charging the is scanner is done via the included USB cable. I do appreciate that this is a standard USB-B cable instead of using a proprietary connector. There is a barcode on the back cover of the manual that will output the battery charge status. I found that checking the charge status while plugged in was unreliable though. For example, it would read 85% charged when plugged in, but after unplugging it and checking the charge status again it was actually only at 55%.I do wish that the design of the scanner had a place to keep the 2.4GHz USB dongle when not in use. Without that, I just know that it's going to eventually get separated and lost. Overall, this is a workable scanner, but not great. But for the price, and simplicity of use it may be an option for some people.

This was the most simplest scanner I've used, no extra software was needed, has a light at the end of it to help scan the barcode and has a nice indicator to let you know the batter status. This 100% helps with scanning game boxes and comic books into my data base. So far no issues with it as of receiving it, the batter last a while before I have to charge it.
