Prolux CV12000 Central Vacuum Unit System with Electric Hose Power Nozzle Kit Central Vacuum Unit with Dual Shield HEPA Filtration and EZ Empty Dirt Bin

I have purchased 2 (Two) new power heads; 1) the Cen-Tec CT10 and 2) the Cen-Tec CT25. The 25 is a full width vacuum with the 10 being smaller. I LOVE BOTH! My system works wonderfully. I have raised the number of stars to 3 because I love the power of the Prolux CV12000 vacuum (the part installed in the garage that sucks). It works great! But the vacuum that came with it is very poor costing them the other two stars. The new CT10 and the CT25 make this system a perfect 5 stars but you need to purchase them separately. The first time I used the CT25 I vacuumed my living room after vacuuming with my previous vacuums. It amazed me how much more stuff the CT25 brings up. The hose sounded like a million things were running inside it. The old one never did this! It took a long time, slowly going over and over the same area, but now, no more million things running up the hose. I feel like the carpet is much better cared for now. AND the CT10 goes through the stairs, hardwood floors, furniture, throw rugs etc. like crazy. These two vacuum heads are wonderful and together I feel like everything is getting cleaned better then ever before. I keep the small CT10 downstairs for easy use in the kids rooms and up the stairs. The CT25 is upstairs and cleans the large carpeted areas up there - living room, hall, master bedroom, guest room.

This is the second one of this model I purchased. The first worked great for the four years I owned the house. It was still going strong when I sold it. The second one has been running great as well. The mounting bracket has a nice quality feel. You can get two screws through it and into a single stud. This makes the installation easy. The handle of the hose is a little hard to get into the power nozzle.

A great product that was easy to install.

Have not had the time to install unit. It looks very nice! not enough pipe to hook unit to existing wall installation, sourcing pipe now. will be happy to report again once we are in service with unit. hope to have installed by weekend so we can try it out.

This unit is very strong and is very quiet.
