You can get the corresponding filters of amazon for a fairly decent price however I've also found some shops like Wilkinson also
I purchased this to help with the hard water problem in my area. Since using this to fill the kettle i have definitely noticed improvements quality and taste. You can get the corresponding filters of amazon for a fairly decent price however I've also found some shops like Wilkinson also do a filter cartridge that fits in this jug.Its definitely worth it for a nice tasting cup of tea. I would advise that you still make sure you have a decent kettle and continue to descale that regularly also.It fits enough in there to fill my average sized kettle twice and the information bar on the top is helpful for you to keep track of when you need to change the filter.

BWT WF 8900 Table Water Filter 3.6 L Reveiw
Great product, removes all the nasties as we live in an area known for a lot of chalk, ideal from people who drink and use a lot of water and like/need it to taste nice and clean.

Weak handle poor quality
Okay to begin with but hhandle is weak. Thought I must have overfilled the jug when the handle snapped, but on measuring discovered the amount was less than stated in product description.

Buyer beware! The handle snapped off every 3.6 jug I've purchased
The 3.6 size is much more convenient if, like us, you drink a lot of water. The major flaw unfortunately is the handle design which cannot take the weight of fluid and before very long snaps off. Depending on where you are when that happens can be quite alarming, i.e. you wouldn't want to the handle to snap off on the way to the fridge! I'd have thought the designers would have rectified this basic problem by now by having the handle fixed at both the top and bottom of the body of the jug. At the moment it's a one star for design over substance.
