REP FITNESS Flat Bench - FB-3000-1,000 lb Rated Bench for Weightlifting

I did a LOT of shopping around before deciding on this bench. I'm one of those types of people. Let me tell you, this bench is darn near perfect bench. If it holds up over time, it's a perfect bench. I wanted a bench that was fully within IPF specs with regard to height and width. Unlike some other utility benches from competitors (Rogue), this one hit those specs. It is easy to put together. The tolerances are very low (read: everything fit perfect). The finish is outstanding (that's not a relative statement given that this is an import item, the finish is outstanding).The pad is a perfect hardness/softness. It's comfortable to brace against, but you don't sink in. Totally stable feeling. My buddy weights almost 300 pounds and benches over 315. This bench had zero problem handling the load.I bought this bench for the IPF specs and the massive convenience over a Flat Incline Decline (FID) bench. My other bench is a FID bench (Hoist 4165 retail $500). You cannot just pick that bench up because the pad moves (so it can change angles) and it really is heavy at over 70 pounds. You need to roll it into position. Once it's there, it's quite long. The Rep Fitness flat bench is compact and, while not light, can just be picked up and moved to exactly where you want it. Again: darn near perfect.So everyone knows, I sometimes do reviews for products I get at a discount. I paid full price for the Rep Fitness flat bench. I did not receive the bench at a discount in exchange for my honest review and unbiased opinion. I am one of those people who very much rely on the reviews of others when buying an item on Amazon, or anywhere else for that matter. For this reason, I take the review process seriously. My review of the Rep Fitness flat bench reflects this. I do not review items that are not of use to me, and the Rep Fitness flat bench is no exception. I am not paid by the company for my review.

Package came in a timely manner , box was slightly damaged but contents were fine ! Very easy to assemble , took about 15 minutes . Was pleasantly surprised with the weight of this bench and demensions were correct as given in advertisement . I bought strictly for use on flat bench as I found my adjustable bench to be just a tad wobbly and sought more support when lifting heavier weights . This bench so far appears to be one of the few bargains that actually has a quality build . Pleased !

I was torn between getting the rogue flat utility bench 2.0 or something cheaper that was still rated for a lot of weight. I like that this bench has a very heavy duty 11 gauge steel used throughout the entire frame, (which is the same gauge that the rogue bench is made from). I also REALLY love the pad! It is the perfect density, it is 12" wide (same as the rogue), and the material used on the outside has a really good tackiness which makes it feel even more stable. And on that note as long as you follow the assembly instructions that come with it you will not have the instability problems others have complained about. In the instructions it tells you how to fix that problem should it arise. Great bench at a great price.

I'm giving this bench 4 stars because it's just tall enough for me to place my feet flat on the floor but not get proper leg drive. An inch shorter and it would be the best bench ever! It took me 5 minutes to assemble with my kids climbing on my back. It was easy to level its extremely stable absolutely no wobble! The pad is not super sticky and but I don't slide around under heavy weight because I can't drive off the floor with my legs. I'm 5'9". The pad cushion is a perfect stiffness for me. I love this bench and recommend it.Edit about a year later. This bench is great. At first I couldn't touch the floor and was pissed about lack of leg drive during bench pressing after some time of working on my flexibility I can place my feet flat on the floor. Bench has zero wobble still. Super great product.

Really solid bench. My weight + weights = 400 lbs, and this is rock solid - it is listed at 1,000lbs and I believe it. No regrets, would definitely buy again.This bench pad is 12" wide. I'm 6' tall and this bench is as narrow as I would want to go for my size. I mention this because many of the other benches on Amazon are narrower... several on Amazon are only 10" wide. Unless you are fairly thin across the shoulders, I don't think you want to go narrower than this 12" model.Assembly was easy and everything went together well.I am very happy with this purchase, just what I wanted for my home weightlifting and exercise.

Love it, been wanting one for years and I finally pulled the trigger on this one and boy was a glad I did, the cushion is stiff but giving, I am 6 foot and I can actually lay on this for my crunches, it is very stable and very easy to assemble. It also comes with 2 tools to make assemble a breeze.

Sturdy as hell and wide enough to support your back and shoulders unlike some other adjustable benches on here. My one gripe however, is that the little feet are a pain in the butt to get on the legs. I had to take a utility knife and lightly score the top edge so that I could wiggle it onto the foot, then tapped it all the way down with a mallet.Overall, I would easily recommend this bench to anyone looking for a stellar flat-bench.

Serves it’s purpose

Simple, solid bench. Adapts nicely to an uneven floor if you tighten the feet after positioning it in the right place. Nicely padded as well.
