I have purchased 4 of these units 2 x 5 m and 2 x 10 m all through Amazon. They were fitted 16 month ago and fitted by an electrician into the outside garden mains supply. They worked well and survived the "beast from the east " cold winter weather. Used for outside under-step lighting so they were out of sight casting a nice light across the steps. This summer a small section of one of the short lights failed at the end of the strip and this was due to water ingress at the sealed end were there is fitted a silicone end cap. It only affected approx 1 foot but i decided to replace with a new unit and this is working well. Thelights are used every evening for 5-6 hours in the winter and max 2 hours in the summer. When fitting the lights under sandstone overhanging steps I used adhesive ( "strong stuff") available from local famous D.I.Y. store and this has worked very well. Delivery on every ocassion was good. I would recommend this product.2019 updateA 1 m section of the lights failed in one 3 m strip dissapointed so now two a 2 star and would not recommend

I bought this to light a path down the side of the house.. we had floodlights but they're point sources, only illuminate part of the path, and tend to blind anyone using the path. I've got this running down the eaves of the house (just suspended with cable ties for now while I work out where it works best) and it's plugged into a remote control socket in a waterproof box... so I can click it on or off from inside the house.A longer power lead would have been useful, but I can't even knock off half a star for that really... everyone comments on what a great way it is to light a path, and fully waterproof from the start.

These lights were installed as under counter lights in a new kitchen in February. The centre section of the lights has now gone out. The 'Return window' ended on 19/3. Dont waste your money.
