Quality & Long lasting
Powerowl batteries last a long time when not in use and retain their charge. These batteries have a slow discharge rate when not in use. Do not mix other brands of batteries with these batteries and always use batteries from the same battery batch. You have a 2 year warranty from PowerOwl. You will need to put your new batteries on charge after you receive them due to postal safety regulations. The batteries have a minimum charge when leaving their production line.

Put them in the bin as soon as I got them...
Recently got an automatic kitchen bin. Wasn't planning to but I found one that was cheaper than the manual pedal bin I was originally going to buy.Not the most energy-intensive application I know, but its been 6 weeks now and they're still going strong after their first and only charge. So far I'd say these are reliable, reasonably-priced rechargeable batteries.

Annoying packaging
Product is great. The reason for 4 stars is the packaging. They came in a very nice cardboard package but once opened they were also wrapped in this annoying unnecessary plastic. Nightmare to open just a total waste of resources. Do manufacturers not understand we are killing our world. Stop double packaging.

They do what they should
Delivered on time. These batteries charged ok and worked for what I wanted. I wasn't sure if they would work as the cd player I wanted them for says the batteries should be 1.5V and the batteries are 1.2V but after reading reviews I bought them and they are spot on.

NOT Low Self Discharge & Tested at 7000mah Capacity
These cells appear to be well reviewed so I figured it's worth a punt. However there is some false advertising going on here. They state these cells are of the Low Self Discharge type which is the reason I purchased 12 of them for my D cell Maglites.I can confirm these ARE NOT infact Low Self Discharge. I kept a set of 3 in a maglite in my car which was not used for roughly 6 months. After that 6 months, I then used that torch and got a measly 10 minutes of reduced output light due to low battery power.I then checked my other Powerowl D Cells that had been in a case next to it for an equal amount of time. These indeed also had drained significantly and required hours of recharging.I have also tested one of these cells on an electronic load, discharging at 500mA until voltage is 0.9v aka dead. These cells only provide 7000mAh before the voltage is too low.So, not low self discharge and over 30% short of their rated capacity.Avoid. Buy 3 Eneloop Pro AA's and put them in a 3AA Parallel adapter instead.False advertising.

Short battery life
I am reserving judgement on these at the moment. They work fine but battery life seems short compared to some cheap disposable batteries I used before in my radio. This cam be frustrating as my charger takes ages to charge them so recharging frequently is a pain. If you have a fast charger then less of an issue but they take about 3 hours to charge in the charger I have. A bit disappointed so far but not awful.
