Not perfect, but I'm pleased.
The sound quality was better than expected, not that I had high expectations since I knew that it was an adapter for a device with 1/8" audio jack to cassette. I was pleasantly surprised as the audio wasn't bad, definitely not hi-fi or CD quality. However, for any car with a cassette player but no aux port, this adapter provides a fine way to connect you phone/MP3 player to your car audio.

Piece ok JUNK !!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been using car audio cassettes for 40 years. I found one I bought probably 20 years ago unopened. I have a 1997 vehicle that I boughtNew. It still runs perfectly fine. It has a cassette player in it and I’ve been using cassette adapters for many years. I decided to open the 20 year old one and use it because the one that I was using is about 7 years old. Still works but I thought I’d give it a break. So before putting in the 20 year old one, I ran the head cleaning tape in to freshen up the stock deck. I do that periodically. So I put the 20 year old one in and it works flawlessly. Excellent sound quality, no clicking sounds etc.Because the 20 year old on was the last NEW one I had, I decided to buy another one to have on hand. So after quite a bit of research, I decided on the Arsvita car audio cassette. Not the Bluetooth version just one with an aux cord.It arrived 3/12. So I decided to see if by chance over the years technology may have improved, I brought it out to the car and put it in. All it did was self eject. Over and over again. So I went in and “YouTubed” it and found several solutions that seemed logical. Over 40 years I never had to do anything like this but I guess technology has changed, for the worst in this case. I tried everything I could find on YouTube, I took it apart took out the “reverse” wheel, that didn’t work. I took it back apart to more options I learned on YouTube. NOTHING but NOTHING would work. I finally just to it and threw it in the garbage. Save yourself all the headaches, never buy Arsvita products.

OK in a pinch, but not an adequate substitute
It does work, and when you really need to broadcast content or calls to the whole passenger cabin it might suffice. But there’s a notable degradation in sound quality and a low volume ceiling as rising noise from the cassette overtakes what you’re playing. But it’s neat to have and I’m not gonna complain at $9. I’ll keep it in the glove compartment and use it rarely, maybe never.

convenient
i like this much more than connecting my phone to bluetooth every time i want to play music. little grainy sound, but its what you should expect buying one of these
