Modified it to replace a much more expensive and hard to find motor (TY50-8A2)
Initial problem, microwave turntable motor very noisy. (TY50-8A2)Loosened up the synch tabs to the back of both the new and old motors, swapped the keyed shaft for the turntable rotor, put the new motor back together, took about 15 minutes, saved 60 bucks. The microwave runs much quitter now. Who cares about a 12 motor warranty when it was a big savings as that. Also note the rotation speed is a bit faster with the new motor, 6rpm vs 5rpm of the old motor.

Worked like a charm
Took out the failed motor, the new one fit right in, worked perfectly! And way cheaper than a new microwave. It's a 10 minute job, you can do it!

I made it work
Didn't quite fit the turntable. I had to switch the gear out with the gear from the old piece that didn't work now it works just as it should again.

Fixed my GE Advantium microwave
Turns a little faster than stock, but saved me from replacing the whole oven! Has held up for over a year for a few bucks.

Part received vs part ordered specification wise was different
The product was not as intended, the shaft was bigger in diameter and didn’t fit the coupler.
