Finish Line Dry Teflon Bicycle Chain Lube - An Honest Review
I've been using Finish Line Dry Teflon lube for as long as I can remember on all my bikes. It's become something of a staple in my garage, and for good reason. What I appreciate most about this lube is how it doesn't attract dirt and grime on my mountain bike trails. The formula goes on wet but dries to a wax-like film that keeps the chain running smoothly without becoming a magnet for trail dust. I've tried several other lubes over the years, but they typically resulted in that dreaded "black paste" forming on my drivetrain after just a few rides. With Finish Line Dry, I can get about 100 miles of riding before needing to reapply, which is pretty decent for a dry lube. In the summer months when trails are dusty, this stuff really shines - my chain stays remarkably clean compared to when I've used other products.I've found this lube to be surprisingly versatile. It works great on my kid's bike (which gets minimal maintenance but still needs to function properly). I've also used it on brake cable lines to keep them moving smoothly, and even for squeaky door hinges around the house. The small bottle is easy to store and lasts quite a while. One thing to note - the bottle opening is a bit wide, so it's easy to apply too much if you're not careful. I've learned to be gentle with the squeeze to avoid waste. I typically clean my chain first, apply the lube to each link while rotating the pedals backward, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off the excess. This routine has served me well.Is it perfect? No. If you ride in wet conditions frequently, you'll need to reapply more often. And yes, there are fancier lubes on the market now with ceramic compounds and whatnot. But for everyday riding and maintenance, Finish Line Dry Teflon lube remains my go-to. It's affordable, effective, and doesn't complicate what should be a simple maintenance task. After all these years, I still haven't found a compelling reason to switch to anything else. For a reliable chain lube that keeps things running smoothly without creating a mess, this one's hard to beat.

Are you still using wet chain lube on your bike? Just stop
This stuff is an absolute game changer if you ride in dry or dusty conditions. It's easy to apply, and the solvent evaporates leaving behind only the teflon so your chain doesn't suck up dust on the trail. I usually apply once a week, but my chain stays quiet even if I skip an application. This bottle is a great value, it lasts me around a year of once a week applications.

Smooth Ride, Less Dirt – Finish Line Dry Lube is a Must-Have!
The Finish Line Dry Bike Lubricant has been a total game-changer for my bike maintenance routine. It goes on clean and doesn’t attract the dirt and grime that other lubes tend to pick up, so my chain stays in great shape between rides. I love that it dries quickly and leaves a smooth, non-greasy finish, which helps keep everything running quietly and efficiently. This lube really holds up in dry conditions and even does well when I encounter a bit of dust or light rain. Application is easy, and I’ve noticed a real difference in the smoothness of my rides. If you’re looking for a lube that keeps your bike chain clean and running like a dream, this one is fantastic. Highly recommend for any cyclist looking for low-maintenance, high-performance chain care!

Good chain lube.
Great lube for between chain cleaning and full applications. This is a good price for the bottle and I use it in between the times when I reoil the chain after washing. It works well for lube. It is easy to apply with the little bottle nozzle. I do recommend it.

Good job resisting dirt build-up
Mostly ride in "dry", dirty conditions. "Dry" as in not raining, no mud. Lubricate every several rides and the drivetrain stays pretty clean. Dirt will build up over several rides, and the drivetrain get noisy, but Finish Line Dry doesn't attract dirt.
