I now consider myself a Blue Ribbon winner at an international Idiot Convention. I have built computers since you had to solder connections and Radio Shack had all the pots and resistors you needed. Fortran and Cobol.. so you know I am old. I have been custom building CAD / CAM, Gaming and other purpose built systems for forty years. During that time I have tossed (probably) 150 to 200 CD, DVD and or BluRay PATA and SATA drives because the trays get stuck. Never really dug into the problem, as replacements were not that expensive. Then I saw a Tube on the belt stretch and replacement. I bought this mixed selection, figuring I could find one that would fit. As far as I can tell, I have 7 (had 8, used one) that will work on desktop style SATA optical drives. Fit was perfect, size was perfect, appearance was as original, less the stretch and cracks. It worked perfectly for next to nothing and 8 minutes of my time. Yes, Blue Ribbon Winner for idiocy and not actually disassembling one and finding the problem 40 years ago.

Not knowing how to measure the lengths, I bought another set that did not have small enough bands, so I was very thankful to find this set that provided the solution and revived my DVD duplicator.

Works well. Unfortunately, the set did not include a size I needed, but it had two others that I needed. The quality seems decent for belts that are used to move the door/tray in component CD players.

I scored a few older minidisc decks that wouldn't take in discs. After opening them up, you could see that the original belt had melted/deteriorated. Confirming that everything worked with a small rubber band, I needed some proper belts.I ordered these and was able to successfully fix my deck! There's a pretty decent selection of sizes that should fit most of these "vintage" applications like tape decks and minidisc decks.In hindsight, I probably should have ordered a slightly thicker one, but so far, they're working fine.

Quality questionable, profile not consistent

Had an older 5 CD player. suddenly it didn't work anymore. Opened it up to find the little belts were all broke. Looked on Amazon for rubber belts for my type of CD player and what ya know there they were. Got these in the mail in about a week. Put the new belts on. Cd player works like a charm. get to still listen my Old CD's once again. KOOOLLL... ;-)
