Fast replacement, good price, applies easily
I really appreciate the prompt replacement, I have tried it on my cat and I have high hopes that it will work for him. It has a good price and easy ro apply plus I don't have to worry about him licking it and getting sick. Thank you.

AMAZING
Not one to typically write reviews, but this is an absolutely must. I rely on reviews from others before purchasing a product, and I’d like other pet parents to know this works! My cat had chin acne that looked like little black specks. Soon this progressed to large scabs that were oozing. I had panicked at this point, when cleaning with chlorehexidine wipes there definitely was pus coming from one of them. After reading reviews I made the decision to purchase this. Instead of cotton balls, I use make up remover pads. I initially started by applying warm compress (warm water on pad) for a minute, using a thin tooth comb for cats (like a flea comb) multiple times to loosen the black heads and some of the crusts. (I did not comb over the large lesion that was freshly scabbed just gentle application of the solution). I then saturated a pad with this solution and wiped with some pressure to lightly massage/scrub the area, going over a couple times. I did this daily. I now clean daily to every other day, without the warm compress. The acne is completely gone. If you are skeptical, worried, and don’t want to do steroid injections at the vet, give this a try!! My only complaint is that the solution you will go through fairly quickly but it’s amazing how quickly it works and how much it’s helped my cat!Update:I cleanse her chin now about once a month. No more scary breakouts. This truly works!

A Must-Have!!!
My 15 y/o cat used to have his chin acne only once in a while, but now as he’s getting older, he constantly gets it. We got a few different ointments from different vets but they didn’t do too much so I was using coconut oil and/or other alternatives to clean it. Then one day, this showed up as a suggested product. Not only it’s good for chin acne or sores but it’s okay to use for eyes, AND it’s safe if ingested? I was intrigued. The reviews looked promising so I ordered it. That was probably 2 years ago or even before. I’ve been using this ever since! This does not sting which is great. My boy’s chin acne healed up much faster than any other ointments that we have gotten before. And this one bottle really can be used for pretty much anything. My fosters sometimes get eye discharges and this doesn’t bother my skittish ones. I used to order a smaller bottle which I liked, because sometimes I didn’t have to use it for a long time. But now, because of my old guy needs it every day, I sat this one up as my “subscribe and save” item. It’s been working out so well. This is definitely a must-have for cat owners! Highly recommended!!!

This helped me find the real solution
This is tough. This product deserves my praise because it led me to what is actually healing my cat's chin acne, but this particular concentration and applicator is not so good. This barely seemed like it worked but it was better than the zero results from chlorhexidine so I kept at it. The black chin crud on my cat would appear each day, maybe slightly less, and squirting the bottle was very difficult since the liquid just wanted to pool on the surface of the cat's fur so I had to work it in with a toothbrush to get it next to the skin. Not pleasant, and only slight progress. I checked the label for ingredients and saw the .009% concentration of hypochlorous acid so I went looking for that but with a spray applicator as I was rapidly running out of this tiny bottle's contents, most of which was dribbling off instead of soaking in due to the terrible delivery system. (Try holding a squirming cat while squeezing a small bottle of liquid on its chin, and then quick, grab a toothbrush to gently work the area before it all runs onto the floor. Tough with only 2 hands.)In researching I found that hypochlorous acid is a common household disinfectant, safe for babies and pets, and I found that people even spray it directly on their faces to control human acne. Those brands have at least double the concentration in this pet variety, at least .018%, and the 'inactive ingredients' list is exactly the same, just water and salt (sodium chloride). WOW!I got some of another brand with a spray applicator which came in 8X the volume at double the concentration for the same price paid here. I chose a reputable brand that sells 'household disinfectant' and 'skin care' varieties of exactly the same product, the difference being a pretty label and 3 bucks. I saved the 3 bucks and went with the household variety.Just in the 2 days I have had the higher concentration spray the cat's acne is way better, the spray application is so fast and easy, and I am very grateful to have gotten on this path where nothing else seemed to work. Thank you to this product for showing me the way, it was worth buying even though it didn't fix my problem.I hope this review helps someone find out about the 'one cool trick' of buying the chemical in the right concentration and delivery system so their kitty can be healthy, even if another brand. I should call my vet to share this good news when they said there was nothing else to try after the chlorhexidine, perhaps they can recommend this pet and family-safe antimicrobial for their furry patients.

This work very well
I have one kitty that suddenly had something going on with his eyes causing leaking that left black crustiness daily. The bottom edge of his eyes was red. This started clearing his eyes up within ONE DAY after I started using this product. I have another kitty cat three years of age that continuously had black goopy wax in his ears since he was a kitten. I would clean them and the goopy black wax would be there again with a day. The vet had given him medication. It's not ear mites. But the black goopy wax would just keep coming back for years. This medication started clearing his ears up within ONE DAY!.I highly recommend this medication.

Face and head!
This works good for cuts, scrapes, and claw marks. My poor munchkin cat had been scratching his head for months. But, with this his irritated head has no more cuts from him scratching!

It's good enough
We bought it to clean my cats chin acne/black heads, but it didn't really work for that. We got a foaming cleanser instead and that cleared it up in a couple months. This cleanser is good for the whole face and ears, which is fine for general use. Very gentle which is why we kept buying this but it's hard to really tell how effective it is.
