Question 1

My power often trips, can this power my computer for about 15-20 seconds while I go reset the circuit breaker?

Every time a breaker trips it gets weaker, so if your 20 amp breaker trips even 10 times, it is probably down to 15amp, so you really need to put in a new breaker. ALSO, keep in mind, a breaker should never trip unless the circuit is overloaded, you need to look at everything on that circuit, an it may need work, ie another circuit ran and balance the load, this could be a dangerous situation if a line overheats

Question 2

Are all the outlets protected by the AVR.

Yep.  I had a wall unit on the same wall circuit as my UPS and every time the compressor kicked on, the AVR worked great. I'm talking over 3500+ boosts in a month.  For temporary I moved the AC to a different circuit via extension cord and now my Power Panel is telling me 0 boosts.  Summary, it handled massive amounts of unregulated power coming into the UPS and handled every one and gave me all the info on the Power Panel software to identify my circuit was maxed and by common sense hearing the compressor kick on and watching on my PC the Power Panel readings, I could see the incoming voltage drop and give me a boost I knew what was the main source of my problem was.  I recommend this unit, it protects everything I have plugged into it and by owning one over ~18 months, it is durable and the batteries are still good in my original one of these.

Question 3

Can you turn off the alarm using the power management software or somewhere else?

Checking inside the manual (which is not totally comprehensive, like most manuals), there is a 'mode' button which is numbered in the guide as #12.  This is the large button you see in the picture inside the darker oval area on top of the battery pack.  When power goes out, save files, then shut down computer.  Manual states to press the switch (#12) for more than 2 seconds.  The switch, which is acutally a large button, is apparently what they're talking about.  This will shut off the buzzer.  Why is says buzzer and not alarm, I'm not sure, but I would guess the buzzer is the same as the alarm.  I've not acutally had to perform this function yet, so I can't verify that this is 100 percent successful.

Question 4

Once the Power goes out and the alarm sounds, is there a way to acknowledge the alarm to get it back to silence?

CyberPower 625VA:  Cannot silence alarm.  Complete home theater system is down.  Push reset button for 3 seconds and no effect.  Unplug from AC  power and alarm go off indicating that the AC 
power is on.  Plug back into AC power and alarm comes on .  Very annoying and upsetting.  Never had a problem since installed over three years ago.  No indication that AC power has been lost during 
the night such as digital clocks  blinking.  I am a retired telecom engineer.  What next?????????
