Great bidet
This bidet has at lot of bells and whistles. The heated water jet has adjustable settings for temperature. The jet nozzle can be adjusted while in use. The heated seat is nice if you live in a cold environment, but not really needed in warmer climes. I like the night light feature which is very useful if you are inclined to need to use the facilities after dark. Best of all is that it is easy to use. All the controls are on the remote. You just need to press the wash, dry and stop buttons at the right time although there is a preprogrammed "easy wash". The dry function is nice, but you will need to wait a long time if you want to completely dry the washed area. The bidet remembers your settings so you do not have to adjust every time. It is a good value for the money and the best thing for your tush.

Just installed, works great, better than my Brondell Swash 1400
After 5 years with my Brondell Swash 1400 a nozzle failed. I almost bought another just like it but decided to do a little research first. Everything seems to indicate that the Alpha JX2 is the current leader in bidet seats. The installation was super easy. The functions are intuitive but be sure to read through the manual to get the most out of this seat.Off the bat this has more water, more pressure, better heat, faster startup. The Brondell had a lag, this seat does not. You can hit a button for a bowl mist to help keep things clean. The nozzle occilates and has multiple positions. The heated seat works great. It's nice that the remote has an LCD panel with indicators. The light has a sensor. And there are even power save functions, which I have not tried.Overall this seems like a great seat. I just installed it so hard to say if it will last 5 years like the Brondell but I'll update this review if anything changes.

Life-changing comfort and hygiene upgrade!
I truly can’t imagine how I lived without this bidet before! The warm water, quiet operation, and remote control make every bathroom visit feel luxurious. The LED light is a thoughtful touch, and the stainless steel nozzle gives peace of mind. Installation was simple, and it’s been working flawlessly. Absolute must-have!

Satisfied with purchase
Having surgery so thought i would get this to simply things. Never had one before. Works well. Instant warm water. Dryer works well. Front wash taint a front wash unless you move back a bit. Definitely helps you feel cleaner. Grateful i had this week as our hot water heater is out so this helped keeping clean easier. It works okay but for the price would have expected a backlit remote and a few more bells and whistles. Instead you have to turn the light on. It was easy to install. The seat slides around and we tighten it and it loosens again which is frustrating for us girls. Overall it works as advertised but wish i had looked around a little more before pulling the trigger to get more bang for my buck.Update- this has held up well. Still working as good as the day we got it. Got one for my daughter that was a little less expensive but big difference in value so I appreciate the brand a little more. Water still toasty and drying working well. Never had one before but learned to flush before drying. Only issue almost year later is one of the front bumpers on the seat is broke down and I can’t find where to replace. Due to seat moving around which finally stopped. Will keep looking for bumper. Quality is definitely above average.

Not Perfect, But Pretty Darn Good
This is my 1st bidet seat and, really, my 1st bidet experience. Conclusion: where’ve you been all my life? I did my research and determined that the JX2 was the one to try. I’ve been using it for a solid 6 months now, and I’ve gotten quite used to it. I’m disappointed if I have to use the other bathroom now.The JX2 was part of a comprehensive bathroom renovation. My fist mistake was going with a round instead of elongated commode bowl. There are a few reasons for this, but suffice it to say, I definitely recommend the elongated over the round, if you have the choice. The beeping: yes, there is a faint “beep” when I sit down (and, I think, also when I stand up.) This can be turned off by plugging in the JX2 while depressing a button on the seat. I’ve found that the house power invariably gets interrupted within days of me doing this, though, and when it comes back on, the seat defaults to beeping again. So, I’ve just gotten used to the beeping. This one’s not that loud. (But it’s still dumb that it beeps. Who needs a toilet seat that beeps? Everything beeps these days. It’s maddening.)The bidet-ing itself is pleasant and effective overall. Sometimes I run concurrent cycles, just to be sure. I recommend pressing the bidet button twice, which gets the wand to do a slight, back-and-forth, scrubbing motion. It was interesting to me to experience changing the water temperature on-the-fly. You push the temp button and that water temperature instantly changes. Speaking of, Alpha should be able to figure out a way to have the initial blast of water be as warm as the rest of it, because it ain’t. It is ALWAYS frigid-cold, just for a second, long enough to make me make a face, and then it’s pleasant. One thing I have noticed recently, temperature-wise, is that the water isn’t always as warm as it was. Maybe my wife is fidgeting with the temp control (which I doubt because she likes everything hotter than I like it), or maybe it’s because the incoming water is much colder than it was in the summer and fall. Regardless, I’ve had some cooler than expected bidets this winter. My wife has complained that, although the wand’s position can be adjusted, she still can’t get it to move far enough forward to be useful in the female application. I have had the same issue at the opposite end. When I’m ready to bidet, even after I draw the wand back as far as it will go, I still have to scoot a little “too” forward on the seat to feel optimally situated. Here is where the elongated bowl and seat (as opposed to the round) could have solved a lot.The drying feature could get warmer faster, which I think would help it not to take so long. I don’t feel the warmth (which could be warmer) until it’s at least a third of the way into its cycle, maybe half way. Before that, it’s just like a cool breeze. It gets high marks for aim though, good aim, just slow to dry.My wife likes the heated seat function, though I could do without it. We both like the night-light feature. I don’t even have to turn the bathroom light on in the middle of the night anymore. I can see everything I need to see.If I was to suggest anything to Alpha, like if they asked me, I’d maybe recommend a model with a throttle on the side, like driving a boat, something you could pull back on to crank up the water pressure. I’d buy that (and maybe a Captain’s hat to wear with it).
