Easy fix
Thankful Peg Perigo makes replacement parts for refurbishing the Polaris Razor! I have had the electric car for 5 years now, i have replaced a set of wheels, a few batteries, and now both rear-end gearboxes! The car still keeps going!I dropped the rear-end open, took the old gearboxes out and put in the new ones in. Just pay attention how you plug in the electrical cable to the gearboxes, make sure you place it in reverse and verify the wheels move in reverse as well as test the forward speeds 1&2. When I hooked up the electric wire harness to the gear boxes, the wheels were not spinning in the right direction according to the gear shifter, so I just switch the cables around, after that, the car was all set, it took me 20min of work to install……add another 15min to remove the bottom rear-end.Good Job Peg Perigo!

Total waste of time and money!
These are pointless replacement parts unless your plan is it put these in so the next guy thinks everything is fine when you dump it on him. But if you are buying to get yours going again look elsewhere. These made it about 4 laps around yard before right side started grinding, took apart and repacked the gears with grease and put back together that slightly helped the noise for about 2 minutes untill left side started grinding.
