Good product for the price - but too tight
It's a tight fit, too tight. It took 20 minutes for me to manipulate the vent tube and force-fit the connecting duct piece. Don't forget to purchase insulation/foil tape!

Just What I Needed
I fastened this reducer to the exhaust hose from my portable air conditioner and to 4" schedule 30 PVC pipe to send the hot air out of the Love Shack. Works great so far, but I will be installing a window behind the unit to vent it properly. Update: I installed the window so it's all finished. The portable air conditioner works great with the ceiling fans.

Not good
Did not fit either size

Product not sized correctly
I purchased this 5" to 4" reducer only to find that it's not even close to the size it's supposed to be. The widest point wasn't 5" but closer to 5.5" wide. Unfortunately, the project I needed it for, it had to be exact. I had to cut the widest end and fit it within the left-over part and clamp it from there. It's still loose, but it'll have to do until I am able to get the correct fitting. If it had been the correct size, it would have been perfect as the part itself was quite strong.

It serves the purpose
With a little duct tape it did the job.
