Sucks so good
I had a food saver sealer that finally died after years of use. After a ton of research I finally decided to pull the trigger on this. On first inspection, this was bulkier than I expected. Operation was easy enough to use without turning to the instructions. Light indicators were bright and easy to follow. This sealer does double sealing lines. That is a major plus if you sous vide a lot. Tested with a pound of fresh coffee beans. Sucked all the air out and pack was tight. Bag was fully conformed to the shape of the beans with a tight seal. I tried the second try with Costco bags. Great seal again. Now for the marinade test. It does pull a bit of liquid but does the job well. The time it takes to seal seems a bit longer but glad to wait a few extra seconds to have a seal that does not leak when cooking.

Perfect sealer.
Absolutely love this vacuum sealer. It is easy to use and works flawlessly. I bought this to replace an older vacuum sealer that quit working and all the research I did showed this sealer to be really good. Very happy I made the decision to purchase this sealer.

Has More Than Paid For Itself
Great system, I have been using this for over a year now and have saved so much money being able to buy my meat in bulk and splitting it up into smaller portions.

Been using this for about a year now.
I've been using this vacuum sealer for about a year now, and it works really well. It's sturdy, well-made and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The only thing I don't like about it is that the inside tray, where juices collect, is not removable. Other than that, it's a nice sealer.

Fast, Powerful, Versatile
*****Bag Storage & Cutter leaves a nice straight and clean cut. Easy to use*****Canister, I am able to use the hose and cover that fits wide mouth jars that I have from my Food Saver to vacuum canning jars. Does a great job and fast.*****Pulse Vacuum is great for softer foods that you don't want to crush. Really works.*****Marinate: Works with FoodSaver 2129973 Preserve & Marinate 10 Cup Vacuum Seal. I season and puncture the meat, then marinate in this container. Good results.*****Double Seal for moist food is a nice feature for foods like chicken which always seem to have water.>Not really negative, just an FYIs>If you are planning to put it under a shelf it is 9" with cover up.>Bag Storage: Large rolls don't fit. You can't close the top to operate.>There is a good amount of bag used when sealing.

Great Sealer you'll enjoy
So far the unit has worked perfectly. Well built and agree with all the other 5 star reviews. Easy to operate. Woulddefinitely recommend. Fantastic price for such a top notch sealer.

Maybe favorite small appliance.
This is my second review after several months of use. Outstanding product. My now favorite small appliance. I use it daily even for things that will be opened next day. It has saved me far more in less spoiled or sub optimally stored food than the entry price.....which has actually fallen by $10 since I got mine. The bag material is cheap. so.....seal away! Other than my air fryer/toaster oven, I can replicate the function of all my other home appliances by hand. Not this one. Displacing air from a ziplock bag does not compare.

Not worth the extra money -
It's 7 months later, and I wasn't very happy with it but thought I should give it more time to see if it was operator error - and maybe it still is. The sealer would not work right out of the box, so I called support, and they said to soak the gaskets in water overnight because they were probably dry from being stored, and that seemed to help. The sealer only seems to work with their brand of bags. I could not get it to seal with other the 'name brand' rolls that I already had; I think the problem was that those bags were a bit thicker. I ended up having to donate those other bags. It seems to seal fine with their brand of rolls but if there is a wrinkle, and there are a few on beginning and end of their rolls, it will not seal the bag, and you have to throw that part away. I cannot find the narrower rolls, so I am finding that I waste quite a bit of the bag unless I form the meat into a tube shape to at least try and use the width of the bag. The photo is of sliced tenderloin, but ground beef needs to be the same shape. Also, don't try and skimp on the length, you have to make sure you have enough to properly place the bag into the vacuum channel; I've had some waste cutting them the same length that I could have with my old 'Seal-A-Meal', and it would not seal. After this current roll is gone, I will donate this one and buy a Seal-A-Meal. I had an inexpensive one for years and never had these issues with it.
