Easy clean
Love this deep fat fryer, I use it mainly for chips. It is very easy to use and to clean unlike my last one which had the element inside the bowl and I had to take the fryer to bits to clean. This one has handles which are useful to me. Very good value and temperature control.

Good Fryer - Usless Instructions
I like this fryer. It has a good capacity; easily cooking enough chips for a family of four. With the removable bowl, it's easy to clean. It looks good too.The only thing I can mark it down on is that there is not enough room around the basket and the sides of the fryer, meaning that when you shake the basket to remove oil, this tends to go where you don't want it.Now the instructions are rubbish. It doesn't tell you that the fryer only works when you've set the timer. (The video on Amazon shows someone filling the fryer with oil and setting the temperature without touching the timer.) The instruction booklet says it should take 22 minutes to heat up. It doesn't take as long as that, I had it set to 170°C and it took somewhere in the 10-15 minute range. It also says frozen chips should take 10-14 minutes. This is more like the time for homemade chips, frozen chips should only take around 5 minutes, as in my previous fryer. I'd be wary about taking any of the other cooking times as gospel, just in case.

Chips
Nice fryer 3lts but outside size the same as 2.5 does good chips the only thing is you have to have the timer on for it to start to heat up no problem when you use it

Do not buy
Bought it December and we are now beginning of march and it overheats burning the food and now the bowl won’t even come out
