Liked so much I bought ones for the whole family!
We normally keep a small, collapsible umbrella in each of our vehicles for the unexpected. The last ones we purchased lasted 3 years of very infrequent use, generally the non-slip coating fails, gets sticky and leaves reside. My wife and I purchased 2 of these, one for each vehicle and were impressed! So much so, we bought 5 more for the family! They like them, too!Very interesting operation, push the button and the umbrella snaps open. Press the button again, and the umbrella folds up leaving the operator to collapse down to the shorter size.

Bright Colors!
We used these as a prop for our dance recital. They opened and closed easily and held up thru months of rehearsals and performances. The colors are very bright and fun! I feel they were a good value for the price!

No complaints
Really simple, does the job. Cheap too! keep in mind it’s not a huge umbrella don’t get me wrong it’s plenty big for one MAYBE two but even two is stretching it. And that’s not meant to be a complaint. It’s very light but not “cheap feeling” light, easy to open, easy to collapse and roll back up. I haven’t used it in the wind yet so I have no comment on its wind resistance.

Good for Windy Days, but a Bit Stubborn
The Rain-Mate Windproof Compact Umbrella is great for those blustery days—it definitely holds up against the wind better than most. But, sometimes, it gets a bit stubborn when trying to close. It can stick, and you end up wrestling with it a little to get it back into its compact form.If you’re looking for a sturdy umbrella that can handle the wind, it’s a solid option, but just be prepared for a minor struggle when you’re trying to pack it up!

Will buy again
Very durable! The size is good to one person to fit under. It is kind of hard to close down fully, but over all it’s a great umbrellas.

Awful Umbrella - Too Hard to Close
Unfortunately, this is the worst umbrella I have ever owned. Even worse than the cheap $5 ones from the NYC street vendors. Even though it has an automatic open/close feature, you still have to snap the umbrella back into the handle & it is very hard to do. You need to use both hands & stabilize it against yourself, thereby getting yourself all wet from the rain still on the umbrella!! Would not buy again. Surprised by all the good reviews.
