I love my Switch, but it is just not comfortable to play in handheld mode and I found that I used it less because of this. In anticipation of Hogwarts Legacy and Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life coming out, I figured that I should do something about the discomfort. Enter this wonderful contraption. To be fair, I did just get this yesterday so I will update this review if anything changes, but I was on my Switch for a considerable amount of time (2230-0430) and it was SO much more comfortable. Before, I could maybe play for an hour at most because my right thumb would feel like it was on fire, but last night there was no pain! Highly recommend. Cheap and sturdy. Also, I love the addition of the game card slots on the back, so smart!

This was exsactly what I was looking for, it fits perfectly on my OLED switch with no issues. It's been months and it's still holding up, it's sturdy, easy to put on a remove, and has saved my hands and wrist from the pain of holding my switch for long. I use it everytime I play, it's that comfortable.

This grip case is probably the most versatile case out there in terms of convenience, besides the fact you can't dock it in case but that was explained in the product images.Having the asymmetric grips, the case is a joy to hold, My fingers rests comfortably.Having the ability to hold 5 physical games to play on the go is so convenient. The slots are padded and the games won't easily, if ever. fall out.Overall, love this grip case and is one of the best. Budget or not.

I play switch exclusively in handheld. I like playing the Metroid remaster, the Bioshock games and Blasphemous, but after about 1/2 hour my hands are killing me. This grip works great for me and relieved the pain of gripping just the joycons. I can’t compare it to the more expensive options since I don’t own them, but for less than $20 this thing was worth money. I don’t really see scratching the Switch being an issue like others have mentioned, but I just got it so i don’t know for sure. The cushions that are built in seem pretty adequate and should prevent or minimize any scratches. The adjustable clip either works as a kickstand or folds over the top of the screen. It doesn’t dig into the screen and has a pad that prevents scratching surfaces when used as a stand. Maybe there are better options out there for more than twice this price, but I don't see why I’d pay more than this. It’s worked for me, is really comfortable and definitely relieved my hand cramps. I also got it in white and attached it to a white OLED switch and it looks good.

I wish I bought this sooner. This makes playing games, especially action games, so much more enjoyable and comfortable to play.For reference I got this after realizing how uncomfortable the regular joy cons were to play Metroid Prime. Not only that, I didn't want to spend $30+ just for other controllers when mine worked fine. Not to mention, it also comes with 5 slots (1 is partially blocked by the clasp) to store games. I love having them right there so I don't have to leave a bunch of cartridges around.The overall grips are comfortable to hold and lightweight. It's got a matte finish with some texture where the grips are on the bottom. I was worried with a glass screen protector the clasp wouldn't fit, but luckily they do just fine.Easy to take on and off. If you play off the dock a lot and need some extra comfort for action intensive games, you won't be disappointed by this.

I made the jump from a switch lite to an oled switch and needed something to help with the grip. I wanted something that was easy to take on and off for when I want to dock and play on the tv. This was exactly what I needed. The quality is great. The padding on the back keeps your switch protected and the rubber grommets really hold it into place when it’s secured. The grips fit nicely in hand, they’re not too bulky but big enough to feel like you’re using a controller. The game storage is what I came to love. I do not need to carry another case with me to have my games as well which is really convenient. Highly recommend to anyone needing a grip.

We’ve had this grip for half a year and I am still so grateful for this purchase. Our hands were killing us trying to use the new Switch as a handheld device. These grips are extremely high quality. As someone said previously, the thing that would make this perfection would be some sort of small but of rubberization on the back or side of the hand grip portions to ensure a firm grip. But as is, I honestly have no complaints. It holds the device securely, and never feels like it’s compromising the device nor is it too loose. Fits like a glove. Highly recommend. Worth every penny, and will be buying more as we add Switches to our collection.
