I use CC ice on Ice on my persians both on wet coats after bathing for detangling and in between to keep the comb gliding through their coats with no snagging for a smooth experience for them. The directions say to spray sparingly and that's all you'll need. (Give it a second and then comb through, I found that's how it works best to do it. On dry coats, you can spray it on your comb then through the coat, or spray directly on the coat, but don't over spray. Use sparingly. I don't have problems with matting because I don't allow my cats get matted so cannot answer for problems like that. This is a grooming aid for as I have mentioned and works extremely well. A favorite among persian cat owners!(also a tip, says you can use for tear stains with a q-tip...I did try this and it works!) Seems to help the coat dry faster after bathing too! Leaves it soft and luxurious... I've been bathing my own persians for over 40 years.

This Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangler and Finishing Dog Spray, Groom Like a Professional DOES what it says!!!!!No hype, no gimmicks, it detangles, softens and brightens hair/ fur.Easy, very easy to apply just spray on clean wet or dry hair/ fur and work through with a combination or brush.I used it on wet hair, then dried it and it looks and feels amazing. No scent either. It made my pup's hair very easy to comb through after his bath. Makes drying time a little longer but this is not an issue for me.There is one VERY minor con:The detangler doesn't come out in a fine mist like the bottle suggests. It squirts out in one spot. NOT a big issue, I just worked it through with my hand.I also, didn't care for how it looks when I applied it to his dry hair. It keeps the hair looking wet and it is harder to work through dry hair because it squirts out.

Best product I have found for my Doodles, even the one with total Poodle curl. Spray, blow out, and slicker brush. Helps resist mats between 6-week full groom.One big problem. Twice I have received where bottles was not well protected and shipped in bag. Tape around lid comes loose and product leaks out into bag. Will look for another place to buy it. Amazon makes it right, but it's an inconvenience.

My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel gets mats in her fur all the time. I have tried many different products to help get these mats out and this is the only one that really helps. I still have to work on the mats with a comb and some patience, but with this spray they do come out. I refuse to cut her beautiful coat, so this spray is essential. It has a very light fragrance, which is pleasant, but it seems to fade as soon as it dries. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

It took some tangles out of my dogs hair but I didn’t like that it was greasy. After I finished grooming my dog outside, we went into the house and wherever she laid the floor would be greasy and slippery.

My friend bought it for me but my cat spilled half of it, so used super fast last time. But it's working very well, would recommend!

This stuff is magical, couple sprays and a quick brush and my dogs tangles are gone and her hairs very soft, and very clean feeling and looking. No leftover residue or bad smells.
