Did the job.
Look for the tiny arrows stamped on the item for wire inserting points. A good wire joiner!

Good Value
A good value pack of medium gripples. They can be a bit counter-intuitive to use, but I've been using them to mend wire fences for years and they're a very good tool for tensioning and repairing plain wire. Use with the gripple tool.
