I got this connector to let me play a new iPod Nano over a PA when my band is on breaks. At first I thought it wasn't working because the fit is quite snug and I was not using enough force to seat the plug in the tiny, tiny Nano. Once I did, though, it plays great and will most certainly not fall out. I've also used the connector to play the iPod through my high-end home stereo. Both cases are kinda weird with this one-ounce, one-square-inch thing driving a few hundred pounds of equipment and speakers! And that is totally enabled by this audio cable connector. Also, I've read the reviews for a similar connector sold through the Apple site. Those reviews are not good. This seems to be the better product.

Great for the price. Gold plated contacts to reduce corrosion. Kinda cheap plastic won't do much for strain relief, but it will likely outlast the rest of my audio setup. I wouldn't recommend this for a high-use or industrial environment, but the dusty void behind your TV set will be fine for decades.

This does the job at a price that is hard to beat. I used it to connect my TV (headphone out jack) to my stereo. Although the wires seem thinner than a previous purchase (different brand), the product does the job. I own other StarTech products and they are reliable

It does, what it is supposed to do, and it does it well, as I may add. However, I take this for granted. In my personal rating scheme, to justify a five-star recommendation for any product, it would be necessary to "surprise" me, to exceed the expected. I know many people see this differently, but I refuse to brag about a product's excellence just because it does what it is supposed to do. So no offense for not rating five stars, please.

After just one month of use, it is no longer working and sound is muffled. Don’t think waste your money!
