Works great.
Noticed an instant improvement in the smoothness of gear selecting on the manual transmission for this honda fit. No degradation in the transmission's performance since using this about a year and half ago. About 15k miles put on it so far since changing it's oil at around 100k mark. I was going to do the change myself but found out the local mechanic shop was willing to do it for me for about 10 bucks added to the engine oil change while they had it up.

Hard shifts? Try this
I have an 03 Honda Civic HX with 230,000 miles. A little over a month ago I noticed my shifts were not smooth and I would even grind gears at times. As time went on I could barely put it in 1st at all without absolutely forcing it. I really thought it was done for, until I watched a YouTube vid about changing this fluid. When I say it was a night and day difference that's an understatement. This Honda fluid absolutely fixed the shifting issue. Is it expensive? Who cares. In this case it was liquid magic. A small price to pay for such a satisfying fix. Don't hesitate on this. It's legit.

Great product and service
Hondas are a little picky when it comes to transmission fluid and power steering fluid. Even the Honda specific aftermarket fluids cause premature failure in my experience. These are the good stuff and the seller shipped faster than expected and packaged it well. Will definitely purchase again.

1999 Civic shifts much smoother again
235,000 miles, and I don't know if my friend's transaxle fluid had ever been changed. In any case, it was slightly dirty and had obviously lost much viscosity.I wasn't convinced the trans would shift much better after the change.But it does!

If you own a Honda with a manual transmission you know Honda only recommends this fluid. This is the only oil I have ever used in my Honda MT's. Has served me well for decades.

Just to dispel some misinformation I found on here- gear oil is NOT suitable for Honda transmissions. 10w-30 motor oil was what was used in older Hondas before they came out with this. This fluid does perform better than regular motor oil. However, Honda mtf is not mandatory.
