Using a MacBook Air 2023 m2 and haven’t been able to adjust to the lack of ports, I keep this in my laptop bag with me at all times as it has many different functions like usb hdmi, so I’m never left without! Amazing quality , also works on my iPhone so I can connect my phone to the Tv! Just amazing value!

I needed some extra ports for my laptop to add some extra devices.This is a very cool device and does the job nicely. It’s got ports for everything and I solid build wise.Only thing is to not have too many devices running simultaneously as it has no third party power so can only handle as much as the USB port it’s plugged into can handle.Great device

Perfect size as I always carry in my work bag, great function, speed is good, enough usb ports to connect all my things.

Good gadget for my needs. works well with the iPad 12. Very quick to download and charge and connect to other items. Well made. The connection lead is short but not a problem. The connector is a bit stiff and needs persuasion to attach and detach but guess it will get easier with use. Would reccomend .

Does what it says

Very handy when using on the tablet or the phone. It is possible to charge the device and use it as an adaptor at the same time. Light, compact, it has USB, hdmi, c, regular headphone jack connectors and the memory card slots. Fantastic for multifunctional use.

Having first checked its compatibility with my iPad Air 4, I purchased this hub primarily to transfer data from one of my two USB 3.0 external hard drives, containing Time Machine backups from my MacBook Pro. That it was also capable of producing headphone audio whilst charging the iPad and transferring photos, via the SD card reader, among other functions, seemed too good to be true; and so proved to be the case.The first sign of trouble was quick heating up of the hub during the USB 3.0 data transfer, which was sporadic and only partially successful. Then, when I used the headphone jack and PD charging, followed by the SD card reader, all were working fine, although the hub was still getting hot during use. Later on, when I was listening to BBC Sounds through headphones and charging the iPad, the volume control began producing an unacceptably low level; this through three sets of headphones with different impedances. Even worse, after I had closed the app, BBC Sounds was still playing, visibly and audibly, behind the iPad Shut Down/ Power Off screen, which had never happened before and, thankfully, not since. When I realised the hub was actually messing with the iPad, it had to go back for refund; luckily, just one day before closure of the 30-day return window.I then discovered the external hard drive, used for the abortive data transfer, when reconnected to the MacBook Pro, was malfunctioning. In Disk Utility, ‘Repair’ and then ‘Erase’ failed. So, not only did the hub not function properly and messed with the iPad, but also it completely trashed one of my backup drives, both of which came from Amazon only a couple of years ago. Thankfully, the iPad appears to have recovered from its ordeal but, after this disappointing experience, I am left feeling very wary of plugging any more third-party accessories directly into it.

Plugged this into my Samsung S23 Ultra and I'm now able to output the display to a TV via HDMI, connect an USB keyboard/mouse and even plug headphones in.The power passthrough works, so I can charge the phone as well.Also works perfectly with a Windows 11 laptop too. Makes a great budget docking station.
