* Update 6/11/25. Added 2 more, and they work great. They dont click all the way flush with the Wyze USB input (they are longer on the male side than normal). But they connect, and charge just fine. My camera's are all in weatherproof mounts, so I am not worried about water getting into the charging port. Weirdly enough after adding a solar charger, the Wyze app connects faster with each camera, and the clarity of the picture is improved. Dont ask me why or how, but it is. Even my family noticed how much quicker they connect on the app, and how improved the picture quality is...100% sure it has nothing to do with this item, but I'll take it.Original Post: So I picked up 2 of these for a couple of Wyze outdoor cams (v1) that I am tired of going out and charging. They were on sale, so I figured 2 solar panels for basically 20 bucks, why not? Found a spot to mount them and had to move both once I installed the actual panel, so I could adjust it to the correct angle. The paperwork says to put them at a 30 degree angle, so keep that in mind.Ran the cord to my Wyze cameras. A couple of reviewers have mentioned that on Wyze camera's if you use this panel, the "on/off" switch and stuff is normally covered by a silicon plug, but you cant use it with these panels. So make sure your cameras are in a water safe place. Mine are, so it wasnt a big deal for me. If you need it to be water tight, look for another panel like Wasserstein.Also of note. The micro USB plug on the panels...it clicks into the wyze camera as it should, but it still sticks out a little. Makes your think the plug isn't in all the way, but if you feel it click in, it's good.I plugged them in, and went into my camera settings to tell them that they were attached to solar power. Both are actively charging, and working well. For 20 bucks, I am thrilled so far. Time will tell on longevity, and charging abilities, but for now I am happy!Edit: a week in, and all is great. My cameras show they are being charged each day, and have a full charge every time I check.

We had a bird feeder with a camera but we had to keep charging it. This was a game changer! Now we don’t have to ever take it out!!

June 2025. southern Azhave this up for 4 weeks on 2 diff cameras.has worked great since I plugged them in.these replaced panels that came with cameras which were very insufficient for some reason.be aware: batteries need at least 6 hrs of direct sun to reach a min of 50% rechargeability.

(Update) of the two panels I purchased I only used one of them, the other I kept packaged in its box. The panel I was using just stopped working after 14 months. It no longer charges the camera. I switched out the panel with the spare one I had. I’m changing my rating from a 5 stars to 1. Assuming this panel is no longer under warranty because it’s been slightly over a year. When it worked it did great but now it’s just broken and useless.I purchased these two solar panels for $44.95. I had previous purchased Arlo’s solar panels from Costco for $79 on discount. I figured the construction quality would be different and I was right. These panels are thinner not as incased in a protective plastic as the expensive Arlo and Eufy panels. But they do the job and they do the job well. I’ve had them for two months now and they keep my cameras powered up 100%. Even in cloudy days I still get a 5 watt charge. Be careful with other inexpensive solar panels that only provide a 4 watt charge. You should buy these. The solar panels do not have a smooth finish like other brands but they work. The panels come with plenty of cable to place the panel at a good distance from the camera where they can receive los of sun. Remember, these solar panels work.

Added the small solar panel to one of our cameras that was out of the sunlight in the fall before hooking this up ,The camera would barely get 20% of a charge. Now with just the morning Sun it's 100% everyday .Would Highly recommend. The 6-ft cable makes it easy to mount anywhere You need it.

I recently bought some Outdoor Cameras with batteries operated and they are Amazing Camera but the problem I have with one is the way is setup traffic is a issue and the battery doesn’t hold the charger and I was searching and came across this one, and the one Down side is they don’t come with Addapter to connect the Micro- to Connect and that’s something you need to consider other than that it does a good job!!!
