I like Aimee Connolly’s products usually, but this one doesn’t work for me sadly. The brown kohl liner is smooth, doesn’t drag on the delicate skin around my eyes and blends well but on me, it smudged almost immediately under my lower lash line - I removed it, applied it very closely to my lashes and then used a mineral powder concealer, hoping to “set” it but within the hour it had smudged again. The top lash line fared a little better as I use a decent quality eye base/primer but it certainly didn’t last all day, most had disappeared by early afternoon. I wasn’t wearing eyeshadow and I didn’t use setting powder on top, I just wanted to try an every day natural lookThe nude liner I thought to try on my water line (as I’m old enough to remember those makeup fads of the 70s and 80s when we all lined our eyes with white liner) so I thought the nude would give me a more subtle look. Nope, on me, even with fair skin, it looked faintly ridiculous. Even my husband, who is not renowned for his observation skills, asked what had happened to my eyes. However, I have switched to using that nude liner as a teeny bit of highlighter and definer just under my brow line, which is proving quite effective, so I’ll keep it for that.This is a quality product with a price tag to match, currently £16 - if the liner had more staying power I’d be impressed. But kohl, to my mind anyway, has always been a soft, blendable makeup rather than a more long lasting eyeliner, and this isn’t an eyeliner by definition really. Oh and one more thing, the marketing blurb mentions shimmer - ignore that, this is matte and not shimmering at all. Which is a good thing in my book, but worth noting if you wanted more bling.

Absolutely love this pencil..So easy to apply .. Nice cream texture make a nice easy line..and the contrast for inner eye so good too.. Good value price..and will buy again

Colour just glides on. Very happy

A lovely eye pencil. It's quite expensive but I really recommend it's much better than the cheaper ones. A pleasure to use. The black is not harsh at all quite soft.
