Not as heavy duty as the old one. The box does say original equipment. My T fall is 15 years old.
It works as advertised. Some of the reviews on the cheaper cost units is what made me get this one. I had not put anything in there other than fries so far.

Pay extra and buy from T-Fal
I purchased the generic replacement blade and it did not work, it kept getting dislodged. Everything was grinded into small pieces I ended up having to purchase a new air fryer. Definitely was not worth the savings, ended up costing much more in the end.
