Everything I wanted in a fully automatic espresso machine.
Omg you guys! I bought this machine after months of researching and finally deciding on investing in a fully automatic espresso machine. I am someone who went to my local coffee shop here in Sacramento every day for good quality espresso for my beloved iced latte. Anyway, this machine gives espresso at the same quality I'm accustomed to. I love it and I haven't been back to a coffee shop since, there's no need! I highly recommend reading through all of the instructions and just taking time to set up your machine, use quality espresso beans, (I'm using Blue Bottle beans for now), and play with the settings to get the type of shot pour you want. If you learn how to use and care for this machine, you'll love it!!!

Luv it!
After I got it dialed in, it makes great coffee drinks. It is not in the same category as single shot units, but the ease of use and convenience can't be beat and is an acceptable trade off.We use it for making coffee, cappuccino and expresso. You get some nice crema and a very tasty milk froth. Again, these aspects are not going to be in the Barista range, but still respectable.Definitely watch YouTube videos on how to use the machine as the instructions aren't real clear. That helps make better sense of the instructions and you'll get the most out of the machine.De'Longhi's warranty is really good and their customer service is outstanding. I had a Braun coffee maker (made by De'Longhi) that malfunctioned and they replaced it without any trouble.I definitely recommend this and am glad I got it rather than a single shot machine.

I bought this particular machine because I trusted the DeLonghi brand but it broke after 5 weeks
Pros: ????Cons: Broke after 5 weeks. Return closed on August 16, broke on August 22.Had this for 5 weeks and is completely inoperable already. Brewed espresso approximately 3x a week with this machine. 5 weeks after buying this machine the coffee ground light lit up (had previously lit up and emptied many times before this), I pulled the coffee ground bin to empty it and the piece pictured was sitting in the coffee ground bin. Seeing as this is an interior piece and is clearly broken off around the screw, I have not been able to fix this, nor have I attempted to brew coffee or espresso. The first time I contacted Amazon about this, the customer service representative had me send the pictures to an email address that was invalid. I kept informing him of this because the emails kept bouncing back, so my problem never got solved. I figured, I'd wait a day and try with someone else who was hopefully more competent. The second time I contacted Amazon about this, the customer service representative gave me the DeLonghi website and basically told me to resolve it myself. When I reached out to DeLonghi about this and emailed my pictures, the response I got was that they could not help me and that I would have to call an 800 number. After calling the 800 number and waiting on hold for over an hour, I am still stuck with a broken inoperable machine. I may as well have taken my $700 and thrown it in the trash.Beware that if your machine breaks you are SOL - Amazon won't help you, and DeLonghi clearly doesn't care since they already have your money. Seems awfully convenient for DeLonghi and Amazon that this broke right outside of the return window and if you can't get through to anyone on the phone I guess that means they don't have to honor the warranty.I bought this because I trusted the DeLonghi brand, but clearly they do not stand behind their products.

I love this De Longhi Magnifica Evo Next!
I love this machine. I got tired of dealing with the coffee machine from another manufacturer that I had used for a decade. Their machines were terrible & kept dying at 10 months as well as I kept getting inoperable machines due to falling manufacturing quality. After considering the money & effort wasted, I bought this machine. The cost will be a wash if this one lasts 2-3 years. This is easy to use & I actually like the coffee much better. It is built very well & feels well made & sturdy. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I do wish that it's water chamber was larger, but as long as it works who really cares. Also mine was missing the water-hardness test strip, so I just set it on the hardest water setting as our water really is hard. Additionally I use filtered water in the machine.

Good machine, easy to use and easy to maintain.
This machine makes me happy. But it has a few things I'd like to let you know:1) after grinding, it looses some coffee you recover only after cleaning after a few uses and it's already too late to recover and use.2) it;'s mostly made out of plastic3) does not include not even 1 cup.4) milk frother is weird to set up, instructions are not clear. This is relevant specially if you are preparing 2 coffees in the morning.5) is difficult to set the temperature. But still , it's a good machine. I;ve had it for 8 months now and I recommend it.Water capacity is decent. It gets you coffee pretty fast with no much effort.
