Okay
My husband and I bought a new bedroom suit, upgrading our mattress size to king. We opted for a cheap mattress since we were buying the suit, with plans to replace the mattress at a later date. The mattress we purchased was memory foam. Memory foam can make you sweat, and our mattress does just that. So much so that we will likely wind up having to replace it sooner than later, not saving anything in the long run.I purchased this cover for two reasons. First, to try to cut down on the sweating. Second, I can’t wash the mattress, so I always add a mattress pad or protector that can be washed if needed. My review of this pad is that it’s sort of like a thick, fluffy comforter. It’s kind of squishy. I am not sure what I was expecting but I was going for the feel of a pillow top. It doesn’t feel like that but it doesn’t feel like you just tucked a comforter under your sheet either. All I can say is that it made the mattress a lot softer. Whether that is a good thing or not is a matter of opinion. My husband doesn’t sleep well on it but didn’t sleep well on the mattress. He still sweats but not as much (didn’t on our old pillow top - it’s the mattress). I wouldn’t say that this would resolve that issue/cool you down that much. He also says it is too soft in comparison to our daughter’s (doesn’t have the pad on her bed). I tend to think that his issues can’t be resolved without replacing the mattress and am not going to blame them on the pad. The fact is, I doubt there is a pad on the market that would make him like our current mattress any more than he does.As for me? I like it. Our old pillow top had gotten too soft for me (your core changes quite a bit when you have twins!) and I was having trouble getting in and out of bed at night to check on the kids. My hips were hurting constantly and my back spasms made it more efficient for me to just sleep on the couch. The new mattress was a bit uncomfortable for me, and this pad improved my quality of sleep tremendously. It is soft enough that my hips don’t kill me when I lay on my side at night, my back spasms have mostly stopped so that I’m better able to get in and out of bed with the kids, and I just feel comfortable when I’m laying in it.I am not someone that has ever owned an expensive mattress and this is an improvement over the egg crates we used to use when I was a kid. My mom and sister liked it enough to get one for their beds and have liked using them so far (they have the same mattress and found it uncomfortable as well.... I have not laundered mine but my sister washes hers weekly and has not complained). At the end of the day, this mattress cover is not going to make your mattress feel like a pillow top or high end mattress if it isn’t. It also isn’t going to make your mattress feel like you crammed a comforter under your sheets. It doesn’t slide around or bunch up. It is not going to solve any problems with night sweats, and it is probably going to be too soft if you like a firm mattress. What it is likely to do is add some cushion to an otherwise too firm mattress. If your mattress is so unsupportive that your hips hurt when you lay on your side at night, it might help. If you’re tossing and turning and not sleeping well because of that sort of thing, it may help. If you just want to add a little cushion, it might help. If you just want a mattress cover you can launder, it would work (I don’t believe it is waterproof but we didn’t need that). As for us, it is an okay purchase. Didn’t solve my husband’s problems but solved mine and I’m grateful for that. I’m sure that we will soon be replacing the mattress with a better quality, non memory foam one, and when we do, we won’t be using this any longer. For now, I think it was worth the money.I don’t have any complaints so I’m giving it 5 stars. That doesn’t mean it upgraded our mattress - it just means that it does what I believe it was advertised to do and I got what I expected from it.

Bought 4 years ago. Still great. Definitely recommend. Well worth the money!
We bought this exact topper 4 years ago. My 80 year old husband has machine washed and dried it for us the way a typical 80 year old man would, and it still looks and feels like new. We currently have a 20+ year old mattress and have been thinking about getting a new one. But they are so expensive, and, at our age, we hate to spend $2,000 fora new one. Our son and his wife have both been experiencing mild back aches, and decided to replace their mattress. They are able to afford an expensive mattress, and decided to get a new one”good” one. They found one they both like for $1,800. When the talked to the salesman, they found out that the particular mattress was part of a buy one/get one free promo. The 2nd mattress had to be the same model, but could be a smaller size. Their bed is a king, and ours is a queen. That would work. Also I am short and have problems with the tall hotel mattresses. Our old box springs with mattress come to 18” tall. The new hybrid mattress in total comes to 18” tall. Talk about luck. I also noticed that this mattress pad will fit that taller size mattress. We get the new mattress next week. My plan is to see if our 4 year old, like new pad will fit the new mattress. If not, I will be ordering the newer version. I’m so glad I checked out Amazon. Also, it is very helpful that Amazon will tell you in the title area if you have purchased an item previously. That’s how I found this one again. Thanks, Amazon!

Better than I expected. A great price on a great product.
I ordered 2 of these to replace some that I've had several years. They fit great even though my mattresses are different thicknesses. I fluffed them in the dryer for 15 minutes before making the bed. I propped the corner of my mattress on my knee while getting the bottom on. It snugged up well and won't be slipping off.The cover is comfortable to sleep on and didn't have a smell even fresh from the plastic. My favorite discovery is the underside is a nice fabric, not too sheer and not that plastic dustguard stuff that my previous covers had. This means I can actually wash and dry them (on recommended temperatures) and the liner won't melt off.

Not a miracle but Relief for hot sleeper
Why it’s technically not a “cooling” mattress topper, it definitely helps! My previous mattress topper was nice and comfortable but a couple of months ago, I began waking up in the middle of the night HOT. I was talking to an acquaintance at a wedding 2 weeks ago and mentioned it. She’s older than myself (I’m 45) and said it sounded like the beginning of perimenopause. She quickly whipped out her phone and showed me the EASELAND Queen Size Mattress Pad. I immediately ordered, right there in the middle of the reception dinner. It arrived 2 days later in a compact box. I was skeptical of the shrink wrapped topper inside the box. It ballooned out when I cut the bag. It had a nice loft to it immediately. It looked similar to what I was already using but decided to give it a try.As soon as I laid down, I could tell a difference. In the past 2 weeks, I’ve only woke up once feeling too warm instead of nightly! The pad is also very soft without being too plush.Highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable mattress topper that will not increase your sleeping temperature. As previously stated, it’s not a cooling topper like some of the way more expensive ones that claim to drop temp 5 degrees but it made a big difference for me. No more waking up burning up and the back of my nightgown damp!
