Fabulous!
So lovely and heavy weight made it look like the real thing!

It looks like SLATE but its a painted composite material.
I bought a DImplex standalone Electric fire and I wanted to put a hearth under it. I built a frame to go under this which makes it look more like a real fire hearth now. If theres just one suggestion I would make for this is to make one side of it flat to go along the wall. Its all shaped like cut slate and mthe feet of my fire were too short at the back so my fire was angled upwards. This looks like the real thing and has a good bit of weight to it. It was well worth the money.

So realistic!
I bought this mat to go under a little electric fire I bought, along with a fire place. This mat just made it look 100 times better. The slate effect is very realistic. We cut it to size with a hand saw, although worth noting if you do cut it, you lose the slate effect edge. It really does look like the real thing & is surprisingly heavy.
