great first drawing tablet
Why did you pick this product vs others?:affordable, effective, great choice for hobbyist artists or newbie to tablets. very responsive, great sensitivity range, decent number of programmable buttons. pen feels light, took some getting used to. left handed set up is easy in the program, cable management is a bit annoying. tablet is light, decent size, stays put (I currently have a glass desk though). buttons are loud. overall very very pleased. if you aren't picky about size it's just fine

Perfect for Beginners!
Amazing tablet! Perfect for beginners! I thought about getting one with a screen, and I probably eventually will, but this works great as my fist tablet + pen for graphic/digital design! And the price is nice (rhyme not intended XD) when your on a budget! Tablet itself is just as described and great quality, and it's super easy to map the buttons to whatever you want!

Works great - i don't recommend the original drivers.
So, for this review to help your purchase, you need to check these boxes.- Do you plan to use the full area of this tablet? (if not, look at something like the H430, it's cheaper, and smaller. have used it before, works about the same.)- Are you on Windows? (7, 8, 10, 11, all works about the same)- Are you ok with the hassle of downloading alternate drivers? If you answered yes to these questions, then this review is for you. Let's get into it.So, all things considered, this thing is great! Pen pressure works, full area is great, very responsive, just all in all a good price to performance tablet. Now, thats about all good things I have to say. In to the nitty gritty we go...The drivers suck, and they suck bad. Things have obviously been google translated and it shows. It "works" well enough for people just giving things a try, but if you are sticking with this tablet in the long run, the driver experience just isn't there. A fix for this is OpenTabletDriver. Primarily, this is used by osu! players, however it has been optimized for most drawing softwares out of the box. Paint.net, Photoshop, Krita, you name it. But - this isn't an advertisement on the fratures of OpenTabletDriver, so do your own research and see if it's right for you.Moving along, the nibs wear down easily compared to other tablets. It isn't exactly the worst problem, as it still takes a LONG time to get through them all, but having to pay 20$ every so often (maybe about a year with heavy use in my experience) it isnt really ideal. But, hey, at least it comes with replacements... (cough cough gaomon cough cough)Also - for the osu! players out there. Just get the H430. I promise you, you will not be using the full area of this tablet. Thank me later.Anyways, I'll stop writing now. Hopefully this helps someone!

Worked perfectly for college graphic design classes
I got this for my son, who is taking Graphic Design in college. He needed one for his classes, and this one met all the equipment requirements, and had some of the best reviews, as well as being one of the more affordable options. The size has worked well for him, though someone with very large hands might need a larger size (he wears a men's medium work glove). He's said that the buttons were nicely responsive, that the sensitivity of the pad was excellent for his needs, and that there were no issues using it for writing or drawing. It's been a functional, easy to use part of his art supplies for the past school year. It was also very easy to setup following the provided instructions. Overall, we'd definitely recommend it, and my husband has considered getting one for himself in a larger size (husband wears a men's XL work glove and found the pad a bit too small to easuly navigate).

Great for a beginner!
I'm brand new to the world of digital art and bought this so I could start learning. So far, I really love it!It has a very smooth surface, and the pen writes with little to no resistance. The pen itself is very comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver with a nice weight to it. The buttons are very easy to program, and I love that they're fully customizable so I could set them to what I needed! The small size is convenient and still has enough room to do what I need to.I have a tremor in my dominant hand from a TBI, and being able to hold/move a pen comfortably has been the hardest part of picking up art again. This has been much more accessible than traditional art! My lines are no longer shaky, my arm hurts less, and I feel much more confident in my movements because of how easy it is to erase/undo a mistake (literally just hitting a button on the side!) if my arm jerks halfway through.I think my only complaint is that I would love to have the option of a shorter cord. The one that comes with it is very long, which is fine for some people/circumstances, but difficult to manage when the tablet is sitting right in front of my PC and leaves a mess to the side that I constantly have to avoid. It's not a deal breaker, but would be good to have!

Great quality, amazing tablet
EDIT: Update after using for a week... the more I use this tablet, the more I prefer it over the Wacom.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Long time Wacom user here. And I mean LOOOOONG time! Like, I owned their very first tablet model and updated consistently through the years. Recently I decided to throw my Intuos Pro Small into the travel bag for working while on the road and not needing to pack anything up (other than grabbing the laptop). This Huion H950P was just a little bit bigger and I thought I'd give it a try as my daily driver on the desk with the widescreen monitor and secondary vertical monitor.I am absolutely thrilled! If you're on the fence just order the Huion.Build quality equals or exceeds Wacom. Driver for Mac was seamless and works great. I love it.ONE caveat... there is no "eraser" on the pen like Wacom has. I never once used that so no thing for me but if you need it go with the Wacom.Anyway, love it and really thrilled so far. I use Creative Suite for everything if you need to know that.
