Great selection of random fabrics
Lovely selection of fabrics - it felt like I'd bought the offcuts bin from a haberdashery! I wanted them to make a flag for Glastonbury, and planned to cut each letter from a different scrap of fabric, so this was absolutely perfect for my needs. The pieces I got were ideal sizes (mostly a minimum of 20cm wide), and I got around 50 different pieces. I was most impressed that although some pieces were quite similar, nothing was doubled up. Personally I would have been even happier with a wider selection of sparkly bits but that's probably just me, and I know it's a random selection so I probably got lucky with the bits I did get - a very fun strip of little silvery holographic squares, some gold lame, and two bits of glittery netting. There was one piece of fake fur, several colours of crushed velvet, some stripes, and about 20 identically-cut decent-sized squares (perhaps 25cm across?) of the same type of cotton - half of them plain colours, half of them with fun kiddy prints (robots, cartoon fish, ballerinas etc). There were also maybe ten or so pieces of rather boring black, white and other plain offcuts of cheap fabrics, but that's to be expected (and they were still helpful to me), and certainly didn't dominate the collection. All in all a great price for a fun bundle, and perfect if you're just after a random selection for crafting.

Inspirational! Instant fabric stash.
I got these for my mother-in-law as she wanted inspiration for craft projects, and had got rid of her fabric stash when they downsized. She is very pleased indeed with the remnants. There is a wide variety of textures, colours, and patterns, and the pieces are a good size. She immediately started making a fabric box out of some black fabric, and I am looking forward to seeing when she does with the rest. She is buzzing with ideas, and this parcel has really got her creative juices going. For £7.50, I knew I couldn't go wrong, but hadn't realised just what good value for money we'd be getting.

One of the better scrap bags Ive bought
I didn’t realise on ordering that this came from a company Ive been ordering from with mixed results for some years, as it had the company name on the bag. Not the name I ordered from, I am however, pleased with this bag. The mix is about 50/50 cottons and synthetics with decent sized pieces. The smallest was 3”x22”.There was a smell, but only of fabrics, a chemical smell, but not unpleasant. Im going to make dolls clothes and these bits will be perfect for Maddies new wardrobe. One thing though, a white piece 12”x24” has a brown stain about a third of the way up and across, Im going to wash it, and see if it comes out before using it. But, I can say that Im pleased with this bag, I consider it value for money, a scrap bag gives plenty of choice for dolly’s new clothes as long as the pieces are of decent quality and size and these were. I would buy again. Thank you.

My first one star review.
I accept that this is a mixed bag and that you take the chance. By doing so, you are trusting the seller to have the same tastes as you which of course is impossible... Even with this in mind, I'm quite disappointed. I can usually put most bits and bobs to use...but nothing much in this bag was any good unfortunately. I read a lot of reviews (and the replies from the seller which almost put me off buying from them) but knowing that there is no pleasing some people, I ignored my instincts! I think if the description had said that it was off cuts from fancy dress materials (lots of bright banana yellows, red and dark green) then I would not have purchased. Some good sizes (and I say this because I want to give a positive) but the odd, stretchy synthetics and some dated patterned cotton aren't easy to use or sew with. I would maybe have bought this for £1.50 in a charity shop just to pick out the piece of velvety material, but everything else I have no use for. (It really reminded me of a bag of bits that you'd find in the village hall / under the stairs from a school project from the 80's) I was offered a refund but I would have to pay the postage, which I was horrified about. I've never had to give anything other than 4/5 stars on Amazon before as always been happy with purchases. I was not happy about being expected to pay the return postage when I didn't feel that the description was entirely honest. The description needs amending to make it clear that the product is literally nothing like the picture. (its all very well saying that the picture is for ref only) It does make it look like a mixed bag of cottony types with pretty prints, which it absolutely wasn't in my case. If you don't like the item, then you will be expected to pay the postage on the 1kg yourself which is understandable if you have changed your mind...but i didn't change my mind - I really felt that the item was not quite what was advertised.

Not quite what it said on the tin.
Ah. Yes, I read the small print. The image shows about seventy percent cotton or polycotton, but the bag mostly contains velveteens, satins and other pretty fabrics...but not quite what I was led to believe I would get. So if you want that kind of thing... this is your perfect buy. If you're expecting cotton... maybe not so much. I feel a tad misled, but have only myself to blame. Disappointed...despite the fabric being of reasonable quality.

Colours were a bit dark and bland.
Arrived before expected. Good size pieces of fabric, mostly fat quarters kind of size, and some longer thin bits. Fabrics were mostly all heavy, cord, velvet, canvas type, only a few cotton/polycotton. I had hoped for more brighter lighter weight fabrics, but obviously you never know what you'll get, which is fair enough. I can make a few bits with some of the fabrics but the rest I will probably donate to a charity shop. Suppose ok value wise, for £6.99, depending on the type of things you make.
