USB Bluetooth Receiver Adapter, Wireless Audio Adapter Car Kit Music Receiver for Home Stereo/Car Stereo Sound System Speakers with 3.5mm Cable.(Aux in) (Yet-M1)

I wasn't sure it was going to work. I have 2012 Honda, which when I bought it would only play Apple products through the radio, AND you have them hooked up to a USB cord. I did not have an Apple device at the time, nor did I have one for the next 11 years. Last April, I got my first iPhone, but I didn't want to have to hook it up to the usb. So I bought this Bluetooth receiver - hoping that if I plugged IT into the USB port, it would work. I didn't have a lot of faith, but I should have, because it worked like a charm. My phones connects to it right away whenever I start the car. The sound quality is good. I can tuck the receiver in the storage compartment in the arm rest. All in all, very happy. Would recommend.

It works exactly as described: I plugged it into my 2012 Honda Fit's USB port and it plays music from your phone via Bluetooth, no extra wires necessary. There is a significant delay between the phone and the actual sound that comes out of your speakers, so be aware of that. Additionally and unfortunately, the sound quality takes a noticeable dip. This could be Bluetooth or the USB quality on the vehicle (I will test with a USB thumb drive to compare and update the review).The absolute worst part about the device are the noises for when it turns on and connects. Both sounds play at max volume and are painful to hear. The real kicker is that the connection sound is ripped from Windows (Device connected noise) and it clips, making a loud screech. I have to start my car with the radio off so I don't hurt my ears or my speakers. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing. If it weren't for those sounds, it would be excellent.Update: I do not recommend this device. I tried a few different setups for music listening in my car and the worst option is this thing. A normal USB drive with 320kbps MP3 files sounds much better, gives you track information, and responds immediately. If you prefer streaming your music rather than saving files, I would much sooner recommend a Bluetooth receiver in the auxiliary port if your car has one. Save your money, your ears, and your speakers.

I have a nice old set of Klipsch desktop speakers with RCA line inputs, which previously I had wired to an RCA-to-3.5mm jack, which would then plug into an old Android tablet to play music. The old android tablet finally went to the dev/null bucket in the sky, and there's almost nothing left that uses a 3.5mm audio output.Enter this little doohickey -- I already had a few Anker AC-powered cubes which provide two port USB for power, so I grabbed one and stuffed it into my switched AC outlet plugstrip (same one the speakers themselves are powered by.) So now when I hit the switch in my garage to activate all my lights and speakers and whatnot, this dude powers up and connects to my phone so I can pipe in some tunes.My overall rating is five stars, I did dock a single star for sound quality because there is a slight but noticeable degradation in the overall quality of the output vs using the oldschool analog connection. It really only manifests in certain types of music and even then only in a few demanding tracks. The good news is, for actual garage use, I'll really never notice because the garage is typically noisy for all manner of other reasons. And really, if you're wanting pure sound quality, why are you on a cheap Bluetooth device?It's perfect for my use case and for the pricetag.

On my 2016 RAM truck, I just plug this adapter into the USB port, sync it with bluetooth to my phone, and play any song on my android phone through the truck's sound system. It only works in my 2011 GMC if I also use the audio adapter cable that is included, and the sound quality is very poor. There is a hum in the audio using the supplied cable and it will not work at all just using it plugged into the USB port in this car. It works great with my Bose radio in the house. Just be aware that it may not work with some older cars.

I installed in in my Chevy Suburban. Easy to install and pair, sounds great. A couple of major issues:1. If you receive or try to make a call, it makes a horrible electronic noise similar to what modems used to sound when connecting. It doesn’t stop until you hang up or turn off the stereo2. Needs to be paired again every time you start the car3. Doesn’t display the music data on the stereo (song, artist, etc).

Very easy to connect and very useful

I was hesitant about trying this based off the other reviews. People complaining about sound dropping and annoying connection announcements had me worried. But I tried it anyway.Verdict: When it works, it's great. But re-connection issues made me send it back. I didn't have any sound quality/annoying voice issues (it made a little ding when turning on and connecting.) But after the initial connection, it often had issues being recognized by my phone.The USB function doesn't work with my car, a 2011 Nissan Rogue. When the bluetooth isn't connected, the car recognizes that something is plugged into the USB port, but as soon as you connect the bluetooth, the car stops seeing the USB stick. Fortunately the aux port and usb port are right next to each other in the center console - so this didn't really matter to me.Overall, It was fine when it connected, but the reconnection issues were super annoying. I ended up buying: B01M25NCN2 Bluedio BL Bluetooth Receiver . It has much better/faster reconnection and also sounds great.

I rarely write reviews but I was amazed that this was able to enable Bluetooth audio on my 2011 Honda CR-Z. My aux stopped working so I tried this through the USB (no aux at all) and it was able to play my phone audio. As others have said there is a 4 second delay but not a big deal for music. The packaging also doesn't indicate the USB works for this but it does. I'll write back if it breaks but so far so good.
