Like many other reviewers I have arthritis in my thumb joints and wrist (amongst other hand joints) and these supports are perfect, leaving most of my hand free to move. I am now using them on both hands, and my hands are a lot less painful.The main advantage of these is that they support the thumb joints and the wrist at the same time whilst leaving the rest of the hand free. I find that I can type with them on, except for using the space bar.

Easy to put on and comfortable to wear. If worn correctly, it does seem to effectively immobilise or support your thumb, depending on which insert you use.

This product has been very useful to help support my thumb while having a trigger thumb problem. I wear it overnight, no problems with discomfort. I followed the size guide - small for me - and it fits fine, around the wrist secured with the velcro fastener, the thumb goes into an elasticated loop and then secured in place with another velcro fastener. There are 2 inserts to use to hold the thumb in position - a wired spring one to allow more movement and a metal one (curved towards the thumb) for more restricted support. Some reviews were negative saying only one insert was in the box - all I can say is that mine came with both; one was already inserted into the slot in the support, the other was loose in the box. In summary, after using this support for about 2 weeks I feel some improvement in my condition, it's comfortable and at £7.99 I'd say is good value.

Bought the small but still comes up big so this dosnt fit me . The fit round the wrist is fine . Really good quality an comes with 2 inserts .

this gives me soo much relief when i am in pain with my thumb. helps support it and keep it in one place rather than me keep moving it around. easy to put on and stays put until its took off. comes with two different metal bars a hard one and a bendy one to give a bit more flexibility

Definitely helped my sisters trigger thumb, at not a bad price to pay for the relief
