Completely poor quality. One arm bent while closing forcing the whole bed to swing to the side collapsing the bed while I was closing it, crushing my hand. now i cant open the bed to remove the struts.. Do not buy this!!!!!!!!this isnt my first bed and i make furniture for a living. first time this has happened.

I would say all of the negative reviews are operator error. I received solid heavy duty system that works great. It is heavy gauge steel and to the person who said the springs are too stiff to compress yes they are very stiff but once the bed is assembled, they work just fine.

The frame arrived and I was a little surprised at how small overall it seemed. I expected a beefier frame since it will be supporting a decent amount of weight, but maybe it’s fine. After assembly it did seem fairly sturdy, and it’s steel so I suppose as long as the hardware is fixed in place well and maintains its rigidity it will hold up. I did find the lift cylinders a little problematic. They weren’t really sized well for a bed of my weight apparently, and it required a lot of force to close it. But I suppose they can’t account for all the various weight beds and probably just go with an average weight cylinder and there’s not much of a way around it. Overall, though, so far it functions well and is holding up, and is a really good solution for accessing under bed storage.

Easy to install & lifts my king bed so easily! The brackets are fantastic as they move in away from the wall to accommodate the mattress thickness. The gas struts easily lift the bed. If i had one issue, it doesn’t lift quite as high as i would have liked it to. Might you have any ideas to help me to raise it even higher? Thanks for a great product!

The system works well, as long as everything is perfectly aligned. The issue I have is that I'm only lifting a reasonably small load of 75 lbs and these lifters are way too strong. I'd like to keep the mechanical system, but switch out the pneumatics to something about half as strong. There's no information on that - no visibility about who the seller is, parts listing, etc.Does anybody have a link to hydraulic lift pneumatics that are about 100 lbs load capacity and a direct drop-in replacement for the ones included in this kit?

I bought my original set and they didn’t compress after multiple attempts and multiple review and assistance videos. So I returned and requested a new set be sent. The second set had the exact same problem. Pneumatic pistons will not compress. At this point I just requested a refund and I’ll try another product from a different manufacturer. Disappointed….
