Absolute unit—this jack means business (mountain tested, desert approved)
I’ve used this VEVOR farm jack to yank out fence posts and some deeply entrenched rose bushes, and let me tell you--it’s been an absolute boss at both.Living in Utah, I get the best of two unforgiving worlds: stubborn mountain soil and baked desert clay. This jack doesn’t care. Yeah, I have to wet the ground first (hydration--important for plants and DIY), but once the field is set, I give a few good pokes with my trusty San Angelo bar, wrap my strap, and start cranking.Soon enough? That bush is airborne with the tap root intact like some kind of landscaping trophy. It’s honestly one of the most satisfying tools I’ve used--pure, crank-powered triumph.Built solid, handles rough terrain like a champ, and didn’t blow my budget. If you’ve got to deal with tough earth and tougher roots, this jack earns its keep every time.

Strong up and lower action - mechanized safety pins Strong - Nicely Finished
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very happy with the larger model to use around the back vs smaller for a vehicle. Nice finish to prevent rust. All mechanization features are very heavy duty and work well in both the lift and lowering jacking. Handle gives nice leverage and baseplate attached well. We are very satisfied with this purchase and its performance. We’ve pulled fence post and lifted trailers.

Good jack - Lousy packaging !
I just now got this jack in the mail. The packaging was trashed and the extra plate that comes with it to use for (?) pulling with the jack was just loose in the box. There was a bolt and a washer also loose in the box for the plate - and I have to go buy a nut to go on the bolt. It must have been getting close to quitting time when they boxed up this one!

Super heavy duty.
Works great. I am not a pro but it feels super heavy duty. I tied a chain to this to pull up something out of the ground and it did the job. It is very heavy. It seems to have a good think coat of paint also to prevent rust.

Not just for the farm
This works great for pulling plants out by the roots.A length of chain, some 2X4's attached to the top, and deep rooted plants haven't a chance. Set up can be found on YouTube.Great thing to have in my gardening arsenal.Would recommend.

Awesome
I bought 6. Lifted an entire roof 4 feet, only think to remember is they will just fall with on weight on them.

VEVOR FARM JACK – DISAPPOINTING QUALITY & DIFFICULT TO USE
I had high hopes for the VEVOR 48” Utility High Lift Farm Jack with its 7000 lbs capacity, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a frustrating and unreliable tool. From poor quality to stability issues, this jack is more of a headache than a helper.⸻NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL – FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELFStraight out of the box, there were zero instructions. A farm jack isn’t exactly a simple tool for beginners, and without a manual, it took way too long to figure out how to operate it safely. A product like this shouldn’t require guesswork.⸻HEAVY, CLUNKY, AND HARD TO USEI expected a farm jack to have some weight, but this one is exceptionally heavy and difficult to maneuver. The mechanism is stiff, and getting it to engage properly takes too much effort. Even after lubricating it, the operation was still far from smooth.⸻UNSTABLE & UNSAFEThe biggest problem? It’s not stable at all. Once I finally got it to work, the jack felt wobbly and unsafe under load. If you’re using this on uneven ground or trying to lift something heavy like a truck or tractor, be extremely careful—I wouldn’t trust it for serious work.⸻HOOK ATTACHMENT DOESN’T EVEN FITAnother major flaw—the hook attachment isn’t the right size. It barely fits into place and doesn’t lock in securely. A tool designed for heavy lifting needs properly fitting components, but this feels like cheap, mismatched parts thrown together.⸻BUILD QUALITY FEELS CHEAPDespite its heavy weight, the construction feels low quality. The paint job was already chipped in places when it arrived, and some of the components feel roughly finished, as if there was no quality control. Not something I’d expect from a heavy-duty tool.⸻NOT WORTH THE PRICE – LOOK ELSEWHEREFor a tool that’s supposed to be reliable in tough conditions, this jack falls short in almost every way. No instructions, hard to use, unstable, and poorly made—I wouldn’t trust it for serious work. Spend a little more on a better-built, more stable jack.
