Drain Too fast in less then a month.
A decrease in battery capacity from 41,040 mWh to 38,122 mWh (a 2,918 mWh drop, which is about 7.1% loss) in just 27 days is not normal for a brand-new battery. Under typical usage, a well-maintained lithium-ion battery should lose only a few percentage points per year, not in a month.I purchased this laptop battery with a design capacity of 41,040 mWh and installed it on February 22, 2025. Today is March 20, 2025, meaning the battery has been in use for 27 days.Initially, when fully charged to 100%, the full charge capacity was 41,040 mWh. However, as of today, the full charge capacity has decreased to 38,122 mWh, resulting in a loss of 2,918 mWh from the design capacity.I always unplug the laptop once it reaches full charge and never use it while plugged in at 100%.Since I've been using the laptop unplugged when fully charged, and are avoiding overcharging stress, which is good. However, a 7.1% drop in less than a month suggests something unusual. Let's Keep monitoring for the next few weeks.If this decline continues and the battery capacity drops significantly next month as well, I will need to get it replaced under the 6-month warranty.
