When looking for just about anything on Amazon, I first check the 1-stars to see if any given issue is a recurring theme. With this resin mixer, it seems a few customers claim it quit working after only minimal use, so I went into this purchase with my eyes wide open. Let me tell you, this Is A God-Send!!! I absolutely love doing resin art, but started to dread the stirring process - even with a hand-held mixer - so I was pretty desperate and willing to try just about anything. I just finished 72 coasters for my niece's August wedding, and this mixer made the job a breeze!I also now keep one of the mixing cups 3/4 full of alcohol for ease of cleaning (a tip I saw from another review - THANK YOU!). All I have to do once my resin in fully-mixed, is simply put the blending head in the ready container of alcohol and let it run 2 - 3 times and viola', it's clean. No Fuss; No Sticky Fingers, No Mess.Resin mixing is no longer a chore I must endure to enjoy creating beautiful pieces. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make resin art easier and more enjoyable!

Does what it says & keeps me from having to stir so much. Bubbles are slightly less but mainly saves my wrists

**update**Seller reached out to me and is helping me to get this replaced. They have been very kind and accommodating. I am impressed by their customer service and that they have been so quick to help me. I am excited to be able to use my mixer!I originally was pretty satisfied with this product. I use a vacuum chamber, so I wasn't too worried about bubbles, but it seemed to mix fairly well (especially if you follow the instructions) and I was happy with the results. That said, it stopped working right after I passed the 30 day return window. I'm really unhappy! It no longer charges or gives any indication when it's plugged in. It's completely dead and useless now and I can't afford to replace it so soon after purchase. Because of that I have to say bad value for money, and poor quality product if it doesn't even last a month.

This was purchased as a gift for my wife and, while the gift was appreciated, the functionality of this mixer was not. At the end of the day, it will be a one-time use mixer (see "the bad" below) which is definitely not worth almost $30.It appears they have upgraded this mixer but I didn't see the upgraded version when I purchased this version even though I specifically searched for resin mixers. If you plan to buy a mixer, I would highly recommend the upgraded version with the reusable silicone cup and solid paddle although I have not tried the upgraded version. In my opinion, this version is so difficult to clean that it shouldn't even be offered any more. If I had seen the upgraded version, I would have purchased that for my wife instead. As it is, I won't be buying the new version as I already paid $30 for this one to only have it used one time due to the difficulty of cleaning.The good: The mixer works pretty well when the instructions are followed, although she did still have to stir a bit to get the resin fully mixed. The mixer does do the majority of the mixing work, though.The bad: This is definitely NOT easy to clean and it is very wasteful - you need to use 2 disposable cups for one mix; one to mix in and an empty cup to put the mixing blade in to spin off the excess resin - this is per the instructions. Once the resin dries, it does not just peel right off, even with the cleaning tool. It is very difficult to clean and will not be used again due to this issue. I would have returned it, but it is not returnable once used. My wife has said that while she appreciates the thought, it is too difficult to clean and she won't be using it again.

Would not buy again. I bought this to reduce the bubbles from hand mixing but it creates as many, if not more. Even when fully charged, it takes 5 cycles to get 300ml mixed. Then you have to spend more money to buy cups, making this an expensive tool. Look for another mixer.

The media could not be loaded. This hands free mixer is great for larger mixes up to 32 ounces. I have had difficulties finding a hands free mixer to do larger amounts for trays and such, but this mixer is perfect. The video sounds loud, but it’s not that loud. I was concerned if the mixer was too fast, but once the epoxy is in the cup, the resistance slows it down. It mixes in spurts of about 40 seconds each spurt, I DO NOT recommend for fast dry epoxies ( but those shouldn’t be use for deep pours anyways). I think I mixed this for about 10 spurts. I did scrape it the sides (like a baking mixer), but learned this is an unnecessary step. There are bubbles, but mixing at this volume is expected. My pigments will pop the bubbles. Definitely glad I purchased this, highly recommend.Update: cleaning the spindle and the was easy as well. I let the epoxy harden overnight, and it was easy enough to peel away including some that I got on the motor piece. Will buy again to have two on hand. I am very pleased.
