Such a Fun Project to do on a Lazy Sunday Afternoon
I had a lot of fun with this kit. I would suggest you have some basic crochet experience before taking on amigurumi. The kit included everything you needed. You should have basic tools like scissors already. It had the easy yarn and all colors needed, black thread for the finishing touches on the nose, metal and plastic yarn needles, safety eyes, stuffing, crochet hook, stitch markers, both PDF downloadable and written patterns which makes the value of the kit well worth it! The pattern was easy to follow for someone who is familiar with written patterns and crochet abbreviations, if you’re not someone familiar with the abbreviations, they include another set of instructions with this information. I did not have to use the video so unfortunately I can’t comment on the quality of the video tutorial. I had no issues with running out of yarn, I still had plenty leftover. I also ended up having leftover stuffing too. The instructions on how to sew the parts together was easy to follow. I’m someone who likes to crochet tightly for amigurumi to avoid the stuffing from peeking through, so my completed guy ended up measuring about 4.5 inches tall and about 5 inches wide ear tip to ear tip. I also did end up using the yarn under method rather than standard yarn over, I feel this stitch is better fit for this type of yarn. I would also recommend that you use the invisible decrease to make it look more smooth. Overall, this took me about 2.5 - 3 hours, but I’ve been crocheting a long time, so don’t feel bad if you need more time. I plan to purchase additional kits since I enjoyed doing this one very much on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I learned to crochet!
I completed my first ever crochet project with the help of a Crochet Box kit. I did Sadie the Shiba (though I’m pretending it’s a Corgi because I am the proud mom of two Corgis). The materials were of good quality for the price, and the videos were mostly easy to follow. I did have to rewatch some a few times to really understand the steps, but all I needed was some patience to figure it out. I’m so proud of my little plushie; I’ve shown it to everyone. Definitely a great place to start with crochet.

Not that Beginner Friendly.
This was a difficult little piggy, or maybe I'm just bad a crocheting and/or learning how to crochet. It comes with a book with instructions and a code for additional video instructions.

Work in progress
I have found this easy so far. I’m definitely working on the holding the yarn still. But it is fun so far. I can definitely tell I will get my moneys worth out of this. And I am learning a skill that will stay with me for the rest of my life! I will update yall further when I get further lol

Good Starter Kit
I really like these kits. They are somewhat beginner friendly but they give beginners a challenge. They have videos that help if you get lost or need to know what to do next. I would say they are probably made for kids 12+ or someone who's previously started to learn how to crochet. Its cheaper than a Woobles beginner kit but i think the Woobles videos are easier to follow along.

Good for absolute beginners
This kit is easy to use. Instructions are easy to follow. Yarn quality is good. They have provided more than suffient yarn. The manual is very helpful.

Ran out of light green yarn
This is a fun kit at a good price. I started with the owl and I can’t finish it because I ran out of the light green yarn. So my owl has one wing and no tail. I tried to get product support but their website is half in English’s and half in Chinese so I am not sure how to fill out the form. I think the instruction for the owl were easy to follow the video was good, but I am disappointed that i ran out of yarn, and have no way of getting more. Also, while doing the owl body I came across an area where two pieces of yarn were tied together to make it longer, creating a big ball of yarn. Luckily the tied part ended up inside the owl body and didn’t ruin it. It’s worth the money you save from buying a more expensive kit if you could only get enough yarn. Hopefully I can complete the highland cow without issue. Please Crochet Box send me more light green yarn for my owl!

Enjoyable but can be challenging for beginners.
This was my first experience with crocheting, and I have to admit it was quite a challenge at times. I found it really frustrating when the video moved too quickly or when the instructions felt complicated. The horns were particularly tough for me to figure out, and I actually had to search for additional tutorials on YouTube just to understand them better. I even had to go out and buy more yarn for the nose, which might have been my own oversight. Despite all the hurdles, I truly enjoyed the process of crocheting this adorable cow in the end! 😊
