Great stuff

Not quite as good for me as Hycosan Extra; however, rather than coming in a large and awkward pump-action bottle dispenser, these are supplied in convenient resealable mini dispensers that are vastly easier to use and much more convenient to carry about. To benefit the most, instil on waking up and several times during the day, before you feel the need.

Good quality eye drops and value for money. Worked for my blepharitis but the vials are made of thick plastic and it's quite hard to get the liquid out.

Nice and convenient

The active ingredient, sodium hyaluronate, is a recognized treatment for dry-eye, and is found in many similar preparations, and cited by the NHS. So I don't have any concerns about that.Inside the box is the instruction leaflet, and six sealed foil sachets of five plastic vials each, mounted in a strip. To use one, you detach it from the strip and twist the top off. The contents can then be dropped into the eye. Inverting the top and placing it back on closes the vial for later.I find this individual dosing the best feature, so you open only as much as you need for the day. Traditional tubes and bottles can be wasteful, as you're generally advised to discard them 30 days after opening for safety reasons, whether or not you've used all the contents.Although I really like the individual ampoules, I'm slightly less impressed with the effectiveness of the product. I can't really tell whether it's helping my eyes or not. The consistency is just like water. Although this is comfortable to apply, and doesn't cause as much temporary blurring as gel formulations, I'm not sure how well it's staying in my eyes. I think it may be either evaporating, or coming straight out again as tears. Five minutes later, it doesn't feel as if I've done anything to soothe my eyes.It's unclear whether the shelf-life of one ampoule after opening is 12 hrs or 24, as the Amazon listing says only 12, yet the included instructions say 24. In practice, I've usually used it all after 12 hours anyway, but safety info shouldn't be vague or contradictory.The product is rather expensive - even compared to others with a similar "daily dose" scheme.

What I like the best about them is that it's easy to keep a couple in my purse as they barely take up any space. Since they're one use I don't have to worry about any accidental spills. On the other hand, I don't like that there's more plastic needing recycling. You'll have to decide what works better for you. As for the drops themselves, they do the job. Personally, I prefer a gel version as it stays in the eyes better. But these work just fine. Would I recommend them? Yes.
