I bought pants for life.
It takes a while to ship these for some reason. Took almost 2 weeks to get them. But it's all good. The material thickness is what I've come to expect from Carhartt brand. Comfort will come with age. Shrinkage might come with age but I couldn't tell ya because I haven't washed them yet. Pocket size is just fine. Not very flattering for work pants. Not stretchy at all, as they shouldn't be. The worst part about this purchase was the wait time. Indeed I did use the "FREE" shipping option. But 2 weeks????? Come on. A discount is a discount. And that's why I bought these. They were cheaper than anywhere else you can buy Carhartt pants. But the wait time, when you amNEED pants really sucked. All though after they were shipped, they were here the next day. They didn't ship them till way after I made the purchase.

Seem well built!
These pants seem to be very heavy, well made, and durable. They will pretty much stand up on their own for a few weeks...kind of like wearing cardboard pants for a while, but if that's the price to be paid for lasting, then I'm game. They did seem to run a bit on the long side; I've been wearing 34-length pants from every brand for 35 years and this is the first time I've been walking with my heels on the pants.

Incredibly inconsistent in sizing but great pants
Love Carharts but unfortunately the sizing is so inconsistent that I have had to order multiple times to get pair(s) that fit. I have the following pairs of Carharts that despite sizing differences all measure the same in their actual dimensions for their waist and fit me well: 30x32, 34x32, 32x33, and even a 34x33.It does no good to try on a pair and order that size as each pair is different. I have had to hem the 32 lengths as they were too long while the 33s fit correctly.Great pants but you really have no idea what size is actually being sent despite the labels. So it takes some patience if you are ordering them. If you need them quick you might be better off paying a bit more an dbuying them from a shop where you can try them on to get a pair that fits properly.

Carhartt
Carhartt says it all. Bought for my adult son. He only wants a specific order number of Carhartt products. So when I find they number, I’m buying!

Durable
Very stiff at first, but once broken in they’re perfect. Really good fit, slightly oversized in the legs. Good quality and hold up nice to hard work.

Literally the worst pants I’ve worn.
Literally the worst “pants” I’ve ever worn, go carve some out of a tree and you’ll have more movement. They literally stand up by themselves, the duck material is literally awful. They have to make them “double front” to make them last as long as Walmart wrangler jeans, even then, they don’t.Holes in the front of the pants from carrying every day items, and I think the WORST design for pants I’ve ever come across (the waist is designed normally, the legs are disproportionately HUGE from the rest of the pants) I mean, I can not say a single thing about these pants that I like, even my pocket knife I keep on my person at all times rubbed through and created a hole where it was kept.I’ll keep buying Walmart wranglers and lose a bit of “street cred” to have pants that last more than a few weeks of work.Awful.
