WORKS AMAZINGLY WILL BUY ANOTHER FOR INDOOR PLANTS!
I bought this last year for my outside plants, it works amazingly well especially for the price. This is exactly what I needed for outdoor plants. There's probably 50 different types of this exact meter but I bought this one due to the reviews being good. It detects lightness great, the build and size is perfect for my 30 gallon outdoor plant container. It's very easy to use, pretty self-explanatory and Common Sense. On the box & even on the product page it says to clean the probes every time you use it, I concur. You need to clean it after every use or it's not going to last. NONE OF THESE ARE MADE FOR NEVER CLEANING. I designated one rag to clean this thing when I use it, it's super easy to clean so there's no reason for it to deteriorate or become non workable like some of the bad reviews have stated. It's not the fault of the product, keep it clean. I will be buying a second one for my indoor plants right now.

This tool will make you a better gardener.
This meter is easy to read. I've had a hard time judging if a plant needs water and this takes the doubt out of the equation. You can also test the pH level of the soil and make sure the plant has the appropriate soil. What is partial sun: what is partial shade? The meter also measures the light leval and takes the guesswork out of putting your plant in the right light. If you're wondering why some of your plants may be dying, this meter will take the worry out of your gardening. I love it.

Seems to work pretty well
I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 because I'm not sure the soil wetness works really well. It seems to either show completely wet or completely dry. Maybe that's the case but I've been checking over the course of a couple of weeks and I seem to get the same results. Anyway, the pH and light meter functions seem to work fine and I hate to complain about something that cost less than $10 when I bought it.

Hope I had bought it earlier
My gardenia leaves began to yellow from the bottom weeks ago. I tried different ways but failed to identify the cause. Days ago I bought this ph meter and found it gives accurate result although it is not expensive. With its guidance, I added some diluted vinegar and am glad to see the soil changed from alkaline to neutral. I will add more next days to make the soil slightly acid

PH doesn’t work
-Like others, I’ve had issues with the PH accuracy. No matter what I’ve done, I have not been able to get the needle to move. Just purchased testing strips, will edit when they arrive and I’m able to confirm.-The light seems very accurate, as it will immediately change if I cover the sensor with a finger.-The moisture readings also appear to be accurate

And absolute waste of my time
I'm very unhappy with this product. They claim that if anything is wrong with the product they will do whatever it takes to have a satisfactory outcome. They claim that in transit it often can set the calibration to not work correctly. This is the case I guess for mine. It was completely useless in that I would stick it in the soil, and it would not move in any direction. The light stayed the same the water stayed the same and the pH levels date the same. When I tried to contact them to tell them, to see if we could have a new one shipped, as they claim themselves, nobody got back to me. After 2 weeks of waiting for a response, I decided to return it through Amazon at ups. The reason why, was because Amazon was asking me how my return went, and the longer the time will go, I could have ran out of time to be able to return it within the window time frame. So I ended up returning it, and getting no solution, and getting no response even. So as far as the customer service, they are not what they claim. As far as the products I don't know if it got destroyed in transit, I just know that it did not work. So all in all, I will go with a different meter. Half of my plants are large potted plants, the other half are smaller. It says for best results to stick the probes six to seven inches into the soil for an accurate reading. For all of my smaller potted plants, this would not be possible as the depth of the pot is not even six to seven inches. If it's that easy for the product to get destroyed just by having it shipped and not work when you get it, then I would be more inclined to buy a meter that will come protected and bubble wrap and ensure that it will come to me in working condition. This one just came in a thin little box with no padded protection. That might be the reason why it gets destroyed in transit, as they claim. Definitely far from happy, I have been waiting for a soil meter for so long, and then I went with this one that had such good reviews only to find out that the reviews were completely incorrect.

Seems to work
I have stuck this in my tap water and have stuck it in vinegar and has stuck it in lemon juice. The readings definitely change which is good. Are they accurate? I don't know . The prongs seem a little weak as far as build quality.
