The Raspberry Pi 5 16GB is the 3rd Pi I've used so far. I'm trying to expand my lack of knowledge in C.I.T by building my own home lab. A friend of mine had some old RPI's laying around so I've taken them and started to dabble around and learn about the variety of things these little powerhouses are capable of.So far, I've had a very easy time learning. The RPI 5 is a very nice device. Even someone like me, anxious about breaking things, was able to put this together extremely easily. It took at most 30 minutes to get it up and running and loaded with Ubuntu.The machine itself, is very small in size, only maybe only slightly little bigger than the Pi 3's I have. The active cooling fan is also not loud and does a great job at keeping the device cool and stable. I think my favorite part of it is the easily accessible power button on this model.As for it's functionality and performance, it runs exceptionally well. I haven't been able to utilize it's full capabilities with multiple services running or a stress test. The only thing I've done so far is use it to run a minecraft server, which is not very hard to do, and it barely uses any of the machines resources. I do plan to implement mods soon, so maybe I'll begin to push the RPI 5 to it's limit, but we'll see.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase of the iRasptek Raspberry Pi 5 16GB model. It has offered me the chance to explore the intricacies of homelabbing and offer me a way to learn more about things than I can write about. The RPI 5, albeit more expensive than previous models, offers more benefits than drawbacks. It is sleek in its design, efficient in its performance, and quiet. I have a lot of ideas for my RPI 5 and I look forward to what it can offer me in return!

The iRasptek Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 5 8GB RAM-Pre-Loaded with 128GB Edition Raspberry Pi OS was everything I hoped it would be. Everything you need is provided and carefully packaged. If you are slow and deliberate as I am, it still only takes about 10 minutes to assemble. A simple matter of removing the cover of the cooler power socket, pushing in the spring loaded clips and tightening 5 screws with the provided magnetic screwdriver. First boot up takes about 5 minutes, but then it boots in about 20 seconds. I've provided images of my Tailscale ssh connection to it and a TigerVNC connection to the full desktop. Really well put together starter kit with solid components and case --- would highly recommend.

Everything booted up and worked. I didn't try the included card reader since some others have complained about it and I have other readers. I'd recommend cleaning up around your assembly area before starting. That way when you accidentally launch one of those spring-loaded push pin mounts, it'll be easier to find the parts. I saw a review complaining about only having 512 Mb capacity on his 128 GB card. From the image he provided, he's was looking at it on a Windows computer where it comes up as two partitions, and he was only looking at 'D:' the boot part. The other part, that usually comes up as 'E:' has the space he was looking for, 118 GB, which is expected with formatting overhead. I also saw a complaint about the power button being small and hard to use. He probably didn't notice the big plastic button (that is kind of a trick to get in the hole) but it makes it very easy to press the power button once assembled correctly. Hope these pointers help someone.

This little computer has been an absolute blast to play around and learn with! I have used this to learn about circuitry, radio frequencies, coding, and engineering. It's current full time job is as an rtl-sdr. I use it in combination with an sdr setup to listen to my local emergency radio communications frequencies. This little computer packs an amazing punch! It was very simple to set up and install the os. There are thousands of videos on YouTube on how to do different things with your raspberry pi. This one was my first purchase and now I own 6 different models doing different things Around my house. Now I'm about to set up a LORA network around my property! This was a great deal for a fantastic product! I highly recommend!

I’m very satisfied with this iRasptek Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB-128GB). Everything arrived well packaged and works as expected.I’m using it mainly for Home Assistant, HomeKit integration, and some light streaming. So far, performance has been stable and the components included in the kit are useful.

Package was very professional each component, the Raspberry Pi, the power supply, the case, all individually boxed and the all in one box. I am impressed. Build quality of the components are also really good. As I was in need of a second Raspberry Pi 5, I have gone and ordered it. Same dealer the iRasptek store. I would recommend.

This has everything you need to run a "headless" raspberry pi setup which is exactly what I wanted (no monitor/keyboard). It has wi-fi enabled so no need to plug into ethernet. Be sure to remove the plastic film from the fan stickers and you're good to go.
