SSD brilliant
Works well, laptop recognises device. Backup data and recover data to and from device. Speed ok on legacy usb2 coping with large amount of data.

It works well and good design, though not as fast as advertised maximum speed, and doesn't feel premium materials. Overall happy but will have to see how long the drive lasts. Speed tests done on 20Gbs USB-C port.

Great external SSD
works perfectly, i realised after that it doesnt state the write speed only read speed 2050, but it did not dissapoint. with my high high spec pc it writes 700mb/s when copying game setups or videos which was very fast. did around 450GB in 8mins.Impressed and may even buy some more in future.

Sorry for previous review, hope this has changed that.When first connected to laptop the space stated 600GB, however once formatted this increased to 918GB.Small compact and very convenient

"Fikwot" External SSD 500GB
This is a nicely proportioned 500 GB Solid State Drive with a metal casing and two short cables, one a USB-C to USB-C cable and the other a USB-A to USB-C cable. It looks pretty cool with a gunmetal finish which compliments the finish on my laptop.I have tested it with the faster USB-C to USB-C cable plugged into the USB-C (3.2) input on my laptop using Crystal Diskmark 8, and it achieved a very respectable 1073.34 mb/s read speed and an equally respectable 995.99mb/s write speed. Much faster than a SATA SSD or an old type disk drive. This makes transferring large files to and from the drive super quick and efficient. It didn't match the suggested read and write speeds by the manufacturer (over 2000mb/s read speed and 1800mb/s write speed) but 1Gb/s is fast enough for me, and a big improvement over my old external drive. I believe it comes with a 5 year service warranty although I am not sure how you would apply this. At £48.99 it seems reasonable value for a good quality 500Gb external SSD, which can transfer data at lightening speed compared with my old drive. A great device for backing up your data.
